Bobby Booey 07-17-2008, 01:45 AM How is your team doing in the summer league? Moves? Rookies?
My team The Blazers report...looks like Bayless is a future star, Blazers may sign a white boy from Finland.
Bobby Booey 07-17-2008, 02:06 AM Nuggets just gave Camby away to the Clippers for a bag of chips.
NiceFace 07-17-2008, 02:17 AM (Nuggs are my second fav. team without a doubt..and as much as i am upset at them for giving away one of the hardest working players in the league in recent years,I can bet theyre settings things up to nab someone thru f.agency or big trade in a year or two..(I smell Chris Bosh pssbly..or Boozer...mmhmmm)
I hope they dont already dismantly the team, its only been like a year and half with that nucleus.(Just imagine having a Chris Bosh on the squad down low..and if they can keep JR Smith..It'll be a strong team)
Douchebag_AZ 07-17-2008, 08:53 AM Suns still looking for a back up PG for Nash, apparently Tyron Lue was supposed to sign with the Suns but the Bucks offered him more and he signed with them .

is that official? Lue already signed w/ Bucks? (cause I think Celts were also frontrunners to get him)..wow,you can play for either Suns or Celts..and go to Milwaukee? lol

I think the Bucks are a nice young team, I'd rather play for them then the Suns, the Bucks are going up, the Suns ain't. I'm not hatin either cause I really like Nash but that Shaq trade was shit.
kentrey 07-17-2008, 05:28 PM Why is there even Tyron Lue talk? If he signed with my team I would be mortified

Its called 'backup PG' help..
the guys been on title teams, and been behind great PG's also.So it aint a bad backUp to have. (Personally I would rather keep Sam Cassel, but it dont look too promising at this point, although he may be a Assist. coach in a year or two for us).
Maybe the C's can get Brevin Knight (he on the Clippers I think) or even Jason Williams, shiiit
Bobby Booey 07-18-2008, 02:26 AM Bayless and Kevin Love called two best players in Las Vegas Summer League.

As an Arizona fan, I can say Bayless is the real deal. Portland got a steal by trading for him. That white boy also looks good from watching him play, but then again, it is just summer league.
Bobby Booey 07-21-2008, 12:00 AM All Bayless did was average just under 30 per game, get the MVP, and get named to the USA development team which will be practicing against Team USA.
He will be starting for the Blazers by all star game.

He will be starting for the Blazers by all star game. What worries me about Bayless is that he got most of his points from the line. In the summer league you have 10 fouls so you are more likely to foul. He won't get as many looks in the real league so he still needs to improve on his shooting. Still he has looked good and it makes me wonder if Oden turns out to be a bust how good can this team be even without him. They won't be a championship team but they still will at least make the playoffs.
