FORMER NASA astronaut and moon-walker Dr Edgar Mitchell - a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission - has stunningly claimed aliens exist.

Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.

"I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real," Dr Mitchell said.

"It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.

"I've been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it's been happening quite a bit."

Half of the people around Mastic and Shirley saw something in '92 (Nov 24th if you want to look it up), in South Haven Park. All the locals saw and heard something, and aren't UFO conspiracy theorists, they wound up being scared not knowing what was going on, just that a lot of trucks and a helicopter started patrolling the area. The only "military" are weekenders that work for the Air Guard in Westhampton. This was around 7 PM and whatever it was, was right over Sunrise Highway and William Floyd Parkway.

Some people said that Brookhaven Lab had something going on, but they usually don't do anything aviation related and it would've drawn attention,it's not like out in the desert where maybe 1 or 2 people might see experimental planes. The government does have trucks that transport sensitive equipment that the gov't tracks on GPS, and there are "men in black" types (prob. CIA in this case) that show up if there's any delays, like a local cop wanting to know what's in the truck. I'm sure if there are people who work for the government that actually deal in UFOs and aliens, they're most likely a privately run company that doesn't have to answer to the DOD, but are all run by ex-military.

It could be an experimental aircraft, it could be aliens. I do think half the people who have been on TV.Barney and Betty Hill, who was known for being abducted, lived near an ex of mine, and she just said they were a normal old couple that had this little bit of history.
