Is satellite radio reception directional, i.e., do you have to aim your antenna at a satellite to pick up the signal like you do with Satellite TV? What if you live on the side of a hill (as I do). I can't pick up shit over the air either on TV or FM radio. I've got a huge FM antenna on my roof just to be able to listen to the Stern Show.

No. You put a flat nubby antenna on your vehicle and it works no matter where you are. The hill will not matter at all.
With a Sirius account you can stream every channel and show via the website using your account login info.
Works just fine for me anywhere I go, rain/snow doesnt effect it at all like it does sat tv.
