I've always wanted to buy stock online, but I don't know if it's worth it? What's a good company to use and are there a ton of fees?

I just bought 100 shares of Sirrus this morning. I went through Scottrade. Their commision is minimal, and there is no minimum to buy.

Their site is:
www.scottrade.com

I've been happy with Scottrade as well. $7 a trade and it's very simple.

I bought some Sirius stock a few months ago when all the inital crap with Stern was going down, hoping he'd find someway to get out and go to Sirius.

I used Sharebuilder (http://www.sharebuilder.com). Pretty cheap, easy to use.

I bought 500 shares this morning at $3.88/share. Ameritrade is $10.99 per trade.

yeah, buy now and while you can in the next few months....i predict it'll go very high once Stern is actually on the network..
