The budget for "the show" is $100 million a year, with Howard getting $20 millions, plus stock and revenue sharing ...if certain goals are met.

From sirius's press release:

Total production and operating costs for the Stern show, including compensation of the show cast and staff, overhead, construction costs for a dedicated studio, and a budget for the development of additional programming and marketing concepts, is estimated to be approximately $100 million per year.

I heard on the radio that he was getting a total of $250 million for 5 years.

the total 5 year deal is worth $500 Million, I am assuming that includes Howard's salary, but not 100% sure.

Also Joseph Clayton CEO Sirius, said that there WILL be advertising on Howard Stern show on Sirius, the commercial free programming only applies their dedicated music stations.

Talk, Sports and News stations on Sirius all have advertisers.

damn this is gonna be HUGE!!!!!!

Shit! I have DirecTV...Sirius is on Dish.

I think that Sirius CEO, Joseph Clayton (who lines his corporate pockets), looks more like Roger Ebert than Vinnie.

And Spicoli thinks those 2 guys interviewing him are FAGS!!!
