View Full Version : I hope Sirius makes...
Y2KOAM 10-23-2004, 08:33 AM a portable radio that can run off batteries or has an adapter for a cigarette lighter i can plug into my car. The radio in my car has a headphone type input jack I could hook up the radio thru. However, I want to be able to plug it into a normal wall outlet as well. This way I can use it... as a walkman, at home, in the car, and at work.
Anyone think there will be any shot in hell of this happening?
Dubya is a Dick 10-23-2004, 08:41 AM Damn.. I wish Sirius was getting the MLB and NFL package... XM appears to be the far better company in regards to adding programming.. of course until Jan 2006..
sirius has the NFL not XM. I have an NFL sirius banner up here it the forum.
this thing seems really cool. it's a walkman that wirelessly connects to your home or car stereo. once you hook up equipment to the home and car stereo, they can pick up the wireless signal from the walkman.

when they make this also be a mp3 player / recorder with a big hard drive, it will have everything
Elder 10-23-2004, 08:50 AM NFL on radio is a waste because no one is driving around on Sundays, people watch football at home.
Baseball is what you need in the car.
Elder, just because you dont DRIVE on a sunday, do you think that means NOBODY drives on a sunday?
Thats funny because sunday seems to be a busy day on EVERY MAJOR highway during the day and the evening, so surely some people DO DRIVE ON SUNDAYS,
Hmm i even see trucks driving on sundays..... guess the whole fucking world doesnt revolve around you pathetic life. FAGGOT
WallyTattoo 10-23-2004, 09:22 AM Check this out: http://www.xactcommunication.com/Satellite-Radio-7/XS028-Sirius-Satellite-Radio-Power-Pod-Portable-Battery-Pack-18.html

Madbandit 10-23-2004, 10:26 AM Elder, just because you dont DRIVE on a sunday, do you think that means NOBODY drives on a sunday?

Plus, people who are coming from/to home when visiting relatives, they might want to catch a football game on the way.
Elder 10-23-2004, 11:12 AM Not sure what's up with the insults and namecalling but whatever works for you.
I think most people are home watching NFL on Sundays, don't recall saying "everybody".
Shizat 10-23-2004, 11:26 AM XM is releasing a portable walkman type unit in a couple of days.

When you say the word "NO ONE IS DRIVING AROUND ON SUNDAY" that means you think EVERYONE is at home, right idiot?

dude, what's your deal? you are in need of a serious attitude adjustment
Y2KOAM 10-23-2004, 01:11 PM i really want to take advantage of that $500 for life of the radio deal sirius is offering before it expires 12/31/04 but if i'm doing that i wanna be damn sure i get a quality radio i can use everywhere. i'm not sure i feel comfortable with the technology that's out there today.
Y2KOAM 10-27-2004, 02:16 PM Hmmmm, do you have to have a separate account to listen online if you have a radio? For example, I buy a new car and have Sirius installed in the car and sign up for a subscription. Will that subscription also allow me to listen online or is the online thing something completely separate?
