a portable radio that can run off batteries or has an adapter for a cigarette lighter i can plug into my car. The radio in my car has a headphone type input jack I could hook up the radio thru. However, I want to be able to plug it into a normal wall outlet as well. This way I can use it... as a walkman, at home, in the car, and at work.

Anyone think there will be any shot in hell of this happening?

i really want to take advantage of that $500 for life of the radio deal sirius is offering before it expires 12/31/04 but if i'm doing that i wanna be damn sure i get a quality radio i can use everywhere. i'm not sure i feel comfortable with the technology that's out there today.

Hmmmm, do you have to have a separate account to listen online if you have a radio? For example, I buy a new car and have Sirius installed in the car and sign up for a subscription. Will that subscription also allow me to listen online or is the online thing something completely separate?
