Lately, I've been getting this message when I start up my car, after it's been sitting outside all day; I'm assuming it's something to do with the cold weather (although I've had the unit for a couple of years and never had this problem before). The first couple of times it happened, the problem corrected itself within a few minutes, but yesterday, I'd been driving for 10 minutes and it still hadn't come back on.

I got out and moved the antenna around and rubbed the underside on my palm (in case it was a temperature issue) and it started working. I don't know if it was the repositioning or the heat that did the trick.

Anyone else have this issue?

I had that happen off and on for about 2 months and it continued to get worse. I ended up calling TSS radio and they said that I had a bad antena. It lasted for 2.5 years so I guess I got my money's worth out of it but had to get a new one for $30.

you need a new antenna. This is a common issue.

If it's a plug and play, make sure the radio is firmly in its cradle.

I would get Antenna not detected because of that.

This happened to me last year after a bad snowstorm, I spent a week with the message. I bought a new antenna and it cleared right up.

About a year ago I also had the antenna not detected and tried to reposition the antenna on my balcony--but after calling Sirius and replacing the radio it has worked perfect for over a year not---so it was my radio that gave me the antenna not detected thing.....
