People are impressed with this. What to YOU think about it?

I think Sirius is freakin' the fuck out and is doing everything it can to stop the f'n bleeding. But why?

I thought Bubba didn't matter? I thought Bubba leaving wouldn't have any effect on subscriptions? I thought Bubba wasn't worthy of a fair and just contract? I thought losing only a couple hundred truckers and rednecks or so was insignificant in the grand scheme of things?

I mean...What's all the drama about, Sirius? Since when do you call subscribers at home on Sundays?

As a subscriber and stockholder, I'm not impressed, I'm insulted. I hate reactive business decisions, when being proactive is so much easier and cheaper, in the LONG RUN.

My only hope is that all this hubbub will result in Bubba and crew getting a decent contract and him being back on the air next year.

Really, you act like you're on the payroll.

Wow, Tim Sabean is actually doing something? I mean really, what else does Tim have to do? The fullest extent of his job is babysitting Bubba and deciding between Chuck Zito's view or John The Stutterer for Monday 7PM slot.

Really? Whose? Bubba's? That's funny. I wish!!! Me, a tiny little New England working wife and mother who happens to enjoy Howard and Bubba and who, although completely addicted to satellite radio, is willing to give it up to prove a point?

Guess I'm just really irritated by this whole situation. Maybe I've just gotten myself all worked up. It's really based on how I've been treated by Sirius as a customer and all the shitty decisions that have been made.

Now they're saying that Jared's returning calls as well...

I got called back not by Tim, but by his assistant that was chained to J.D. Hopefully the Howard show will get us up on what is going on tomorrow.

I'm waiting for a call from Teddy or maybe Shuli, I'm sure someone from 100 or 101 will get in touch with me before tomorrow.

BTW, does anyone know if Howard and crew will be live in studio tomorrow? Some people are expecting him to be there and comment on all this and some people are saying he won't be there. Anyone?

So he spends an hour of his Sunday calling a few random people. It still doesn't change the fact Sirius XM canned a bunch of great channels, DJ's, and censored the content. I wouldn't buy into this smoke screen.

I recieved a call back from Tim Sabean last Sunday after I left a message on his phone Friday. Frankly I was impressed that he called me back. Said they were trying to keep Bubba, usual blah blah blah but sounded honest.

no bull shit

I sent an e-mail to Greenstein and recd a response from Tim

First off, thank you for taking the time to email us at SiriusXM radio.

Bubba the Love Sponge continues to do his radio show on Sirius and XM.

We hope to continue working with him and broadcasting the show on Howard 101.

The concerns you expressed are opinions and I can assure you that the level of effort from the Stern staff has not waned.

The “crew” and the “show talent” work around the clock writing, producing and creating with the goal of presenting the greatest radio show on earth known as the Howard Stern Show!

Thanks again for listening to the “Best Radio on Radio”…SiriusXM RADIO!

Sincerely-

Tim Sabean

Yesterday Howard said Bubbas not going anywhere which indicates to me that Sirius must be getting a huge response about the possibility of letting him go. Last year under the same circumstances Howard never spoke that strongly on air. He did show support but never made a statement like that.
