once again, my SL2 is starting to lose the recordings from its internal memory. This is the 3rd SL2 since last xmas. the way to fix it is by reseting the whole damn thing but it gets very old....

Any1 else with this problem???

Yeah I am very pissed right now. I live in CA so I record the show from 3 am to 9 am (my time) then when I get up I listen to what I had recorded and in the car on the way to work. I had recorded all the previous History of Howard Stern over the last few Fridays. I went to listen to a recording the other day and the memory is empty. I was fuckin' PISSED! If I lose any of this weeks History of Howard I am going to use my warranty to get another Stiletto 2! THis is the second time the memory got wiped for no reason. I thought maybe because I have it in the garage it got so cold that it wiped the memory. I don't know it's aggravating to say the least.

I finally returned the Stiletto2 I got in August. I was tired of taking the battery out to reset to listen for 30 minutes and have to do it all over again over and over and over again.

maybe you can help me with this...I recorded a few Howard Stern shows (and some other programs as well) a few weeks ago. Then, I had a problem recording anything so I called customer service and they said I needed to take out the battery for 20 seconds and then reinstall it, and turn it back on. Since then, I haven't had a problem recording anything. But what has happened is some of my older programs have disappeared, including the last Howard before vacation. Am I not doing something? What do I need to do to keep my older programs while recording newer ones?

Thanks,
Ed

The firmware and baseband info can be found under Settings>Device. I will help resolve these problems for you, courtesy of TSS-Radio.com

i have a different but similar problem. mine is with "radio replays." my problem is two fold. first off the radio rplays i had except for two channels all but dissappeared when sirius/xm updated their channel list and made all of the music channels common. only two that were kept on my machine was 60's channel and classical pops. all the others as i said were deleted. since then too i've been unable to make new radi replays

Does anyone out there as a customer or from tss-radio have any idea as to the problem? i had called in the past tech support and they said something about them working on this problem. really wasn't much of any help. it's been this way since november when they updated the channel listing. also noticed that the decades channels have the generic sirius emblem instead of the logo that a station would normally have.

Hi Ron,

I have replied to your email. A quick tip while we wait for the latest software update for the SL2 is to disable Radio Replays IF you use a lot of scheduled recordings AND try to keep your Device memory under 50% for the time being. This should be resolved soon as Sirius XM really IS working on it.
