I suggest you go to the store and check to see which would be easier to carry around. Also, look at the new technology from both companies because there might be something coming out that might interest you. (Again, check to see which unti is easy to transport and which one seems like you'd need a backpack to carry.) ;)

one of the banners I have setup here has the coolest one I've found. It's a little walkman that not only plays via headphones on the go, but also wirelessly connects to your car or home stereo.

this page lists all the banners
http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/adverts.php
and it has a search

if anyone finds a cooler one or a better deal on this one let me know. With the new Mel news, it looks like Howard will be moving soon after all and I'd like to grab min for xmas.

no I don't have it, but it's the one I'm looking at.

it has an fm transmitter build into it so you can turn you car radio on to 88.5fm and it will pick up the tunes from the sirius walkman!! no hookup at all. work on any radio.

they also have a differnt kit that you can hookup to the radio which I suppose is better quality, but I'll try the fm transmitter version first.

I'll be able to use it in the jeep and on the boat. I'm psyched. the radio on the boat suck when you hit the ocean. cd's skip when you jump waves and the stations don't come in well. Can't wait to have real music playing while we're out playing.

While this thread is here, does anyone have any of the boomboxes that Sirius offers? I usually listen at home and wondering what people think of these units.
