How about just cutting out the middle man completely.

1. Must redeem by 11/24/2004

2. Must order system from sirius.com/offer/sternrally

3. Promotion Code 263

4. Select the system you want and purchase annual subscription for $142.45

5. Certificate # HS7436 in the "refferal ID" field

thats funny, so these codes are for only a percentage off. People are thinking they are like free subscriptions.

the codes are to get the free reciever and either the car or home adapter. You still have to prepay for 1 year of service.

I just checked it out. Its not for the boombox which Howard gave out its for the main piece which plugs in to the boombox and other Sirius receivers. And you have a choice between a Car Kit or Home Kit. And you must purchase subscription of Sirius. It looks like the least expensive thing they have available. But I'm not complaining it's free.

It's a good deal if you were going to get Sirius anyways or if you want to buy it for someone for christmas. Joe M at SFN ex-sister board posted it yesterday with the same code (263) but the referal Id is "sirius."

But both XM and Sirius could do better upgrading their recievers in my opinion. I'm still waiting for one with a Tivo-like function on it.

All you have to do to get the boombox, is sell the home kit for $50 and pay the rest of the $100 price tag of the boombox.
