Do you think Howard would invite Jackie to come to Sirius with him? With the possibilities of losing cast members would Howard ever bring back someone like Jackie or even John? I know he's under contract but just saying?

No...I don't think he would reward those who bailed on him....they'd just do it again....bail on me once shame on you - bail on me twice shame on me........no chance imo. :hw:

They just played a Jackie routine on the Raw Dog comedy channel.

Unless John's fired from leno, he wouldn't want to go back to a job that pays him less... and as for jackie, I think tehre's too much bad blood to consider it.

I'd be surprised if Jackie was brought back into the fold, but I disagree on the "bad blood" theory.

Howard is very careful not to bad mouth Jackie, while tiptoeing around hypersensitive Artie's feelings. He sued Einziger for the "Are You Hot Show" -- and for breach of their "confidential" relationship -- but he kept Jackie out of that suit.

Robin's the one with issues. (If Fred's got issues, that could only make good radio.) If Robin's off to daytime TV talk, that's one obstacle out of the way.

Howard still needs a comedy writer. . .

It's up to Howchie. Who knows?

If he wants big ratings and to sell lots of subscriptions, he should.

And he should really dump that load, the ArtieBeast before he makes the jump.

Jackie might go if the money's right. But I wouldn't count on it. IMHO, I couldn't care less. I liked Jackie when he was on the show, but the way he walked away from Howard was pretty shitty. Artie brings more to the show than Jackie ever did.

Still, I'd like to see him do an interview on the show, at the very least.

What the ArtieBeast brings, could be easily obtained with Ambien.

"Give Jackie Another Chance!" THAT'S funny!

I hated the racism, but I hearted Jack for entertainment. I hope he takes Howard's offer, because I think The Howard knows entertainment value when he lives it. He did say he would surprise with his outstretched offers... I think Howard has offered

Wasn't Howard trashing Jackie after he stated he might bring "old members back"?. I get the feeling Jackie turned him down.

Jackie was the first person on the phone to howard say "Hey buddy!" imo. I can see a space for him maybe but he'd quickly think he's the king of the show and the same old shit would happen all over again. Robin would vito his return.

I'd like to see Jackie come back. It was so funny when they used to goof on him.
Howard hardly ever goofs on anyone who works on the show anymore. Does anyone know why that is? Why is Artie so sensitive?

Imagine the demands Jackie would make if Howard were the one asking Jackie to come back. Jackie has to be the one to ask and I don't think he will do it. I would not be suprised if Jackie asked for his own show though. That would be a snoozefest.

No way it will happen - too many bridges burned by Jackie. Howard seems to still like him as a person but professionally - no way. Artie is better anyway.

No way. Jackie can't pony up a fraction of Artie's humour and may tie with Fred with less airtime. Half the humour when Jackie's around was about his house, his thriftiness, Nancy and her music. Oh, and his sandpaper voice. Furgaddaboit. But bring KC back. We need his chick-yelling schick.

Howard stated on his BB prior to the shutdown when asked about Jackie returning that all doors are open. The one ray of hope is that they recently did a segment about Jackie and his recent infomercial, that made me believe that this was an olive branch and hopefully Jackie will take the branch. If I was Sirius I would sign Jackie to a 5 year contract to avoid the bad blood in negotiations. Sirius takes a very different approach than Viacom and Tom C so this could be the chance to get Jackie back. Stuttering John's departure has had little impact on the show, I liked him on it but the show has not gone down since he left, the only void is when John would throw people "under the bus" on the air, enter Sal the Stockbroker, I love it when Sal gets mean, its great radio, he needs to keep on throwing the personal stuff out there as he gets more comfortable on the show.

I noticed since Jackie left Howard hadn't really mentioned him. But after he made the Sirius announcement he talked about him quite a few times and nothing bad really either. He did a plug for his wife and then kind of did a plug for Jackies Joke Machine and he has been featured in some of the Best of Shows this week. Like today the Rodney Dangerfield segment. Great segment but why play that when he could have easily went with another. I hope if Jackie does come back they keep Artie as well. Jackie and Artie together would be great.

I think with robin maybe moving on with the talk show (thank god), he might want jackie back on sirius. That'd be a great move... Jackie, Fred, Howard and the gang, all you need.

let Robin go on with her new show, replace her with the black chick from reno 911, at least she is funny.

and Add Jackie back.... Howard can blame the bitterness on Viamcom
