I ordered my Sirius radio from Sirius Direct on Monday with overnight delivery in order to get it all setup and ready to go for my holiday travels. Every time I call Sirius to check on my order they tell me they won't know anything until 24-hours after it was delivered. To make a long story short it is Friday evening and I have no unit. I will be calling Sirius first thing in the morning to cancel my order.

Also, the claim they get back to you within 24 hours of an email. I have proof that it takes 72 hours. So unless SIRIUS gets SERIOUS with their customer service I'll be without.

but how do we know the story you're telling us is real or fake?

I guess you don't, but I am really pi$$ed off I haven't got it yet and Sirius will not give me any info on my order except "we see it in the machine, but we ship out from New Jersey and won't get the tracking info until 24 hours after it is shipped.

This sounds so much like BS, but this is what they are telling me. When I order with overnight deliver before noon. I want it the next day.

order my package last Sat - paid 2 day ship and handling but still no confirm! I emailed customer service and they emailed back that it could take as much as 2-3 weeks to even process the order if you are using the stern package! I am "seriously" considering canceling as well - that does not inspire confidence in their service. Too bad - I was psyched.

Sirius Direct is only back ordering the stern deals so they can get legit orders out for X-Mas. I was told that if need be they will keep back orders on hold until after X-mas, but you WILL get it before Dec. 31st that is the ONLY promise.

thats unacceptable even if I did use the Stern deal - which I don't think I did - used boombox deal - if they can't promise it to me by the end of next week I'm canceling! You can't try to recruit consumers then make them feel like second class citizens.

Get over yourselves. Jeeezus, what a bunch of crybabies.

When you get it, you'll never remember this nonsense and you'll never want to be without it again.

It kicks the living shit outta commercial radio and that's no joke. I've had it for 3 weeks and it's always with me and only off during Howard and when I sleep.

It's worth the wait. :D

I know - I deserve the whaaa whaaa

But thought you guys should know that I specifically received an email stating that ordering under the Stern promotions takes weeks while if you order off the street it will be filled in 12-24 hours. Just don't like being recruited then beng told I am not as important as other consumers. Ordered and paid a week ago and not even close to being filled after 3 emails - Not a good sign for customer service -

but you're right - whaaaa wheres my sat radio!!!!

It's not that you're less important, what's more important is the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Look, it's like helping out a family member or friend's business, you put up with a bit more because you want them to be successful. Right now, they need an infusion of $$$$ for the 4th quarter and those people paying for receivers AND a subscription bring in more cash.

Relax. You'll get your's and you'll never remember this, in the meantime, just think of it as being patient for the cause!

Hey, I paid $210 for the Xact unit, along with a home docking station, 3 weeks ago. Now, the same unit is free and I could have saved $100+, but you don't see me here bitching about it. I'm glad I got my unit and the service and it kicks ass.

Get a better F'ing attitude. :D

I used the Stern deal, with standard shipping, and received my unit in 4 business days.

Just an update - ordered my audivox package on 11/20 and no ship day in sight. Sirius rep said to expect a shipment "maybe to arrive on next Monday" - I did get credited for my $20 shipping/ handling and got my streaming online password.

For you guys ordering for Xmas - do it soon if you want it by then to give.

Kiddnets,

I talked to Sirius and they said 7 - 14 days. They did refund my overnight delivery charge.
