the site can only do so much. the floodcheck is very important to help keep down spam & server attacks. more importantly, it's not new. we always had a 30 second flood check. the site just took so fucking long to load, 30 seconds would pass before you could make a post. ya just never saw the message. the site is faster now & you are noticing it.

30 second flood check for guests & general members
15 second flood check for supporters (it's a small group & won't hurt perfomrance)
no flood check for VIPs (there's only a handfull of them)

actually that's a pretty good advantage to being a supporter
