- after typing in search topic and hitting 'go' button... screen loads to plain white page...

...also, with all due respect, Mutt... Were the (highly viewed) photoshop threads placed into the AV room for technical or functional reasons (efficiency), organizational, or just choice??? Just curious, I know alot of people are alittle upset over this...

btw... great site overall, Mutt! You deserve and need to take a break/few days off.... you'll be able to think more clearly and work more efficiently!

the av forum was setup for the photoshop threads. we can't have 5 stickied photoshop threads in the normal forums. people who browse them can just as easily browse them there.

as many people as you think are upset that they got moved, there's the whole rest of the site that is revealed that they are out of the way.

1 photoshop thread would have been ok. 1 main one w/ links to the others would have been ok. this has never worked though. there's always a reason to start a new one. that's great it really is. we just can't have them all sticked.

now in their own forum, we can have as many as we want and it will make it easier for other people who haven't seen these photoshops to find them

as for the white page, yes we have several white page issues. it's not every time. just every now and then. I just did a search and it worked fine.

I'm trying to find out why. they tell me that it's probably because we need to change some server settings. I've put in an optimization request. when they get back to me, hopefully that solves it

Fair enough, brotha... Thanks for the explanation!

I was testing out some searches, just by putting in one word names... everyone worked, except when I tried "howard" (attempted about 6 times) --- that's the only result that gave white page... :dontknow:

Well... thanks for answering questions and hope everything irons out smoothly... seems like you're almost at the finish line... just a few minor touches! Have a good one!
