View Full Version : More ranting from ignorance
ddetroit 04-06-2009, 04:40 PM I think I may be done with Bubba.
I've listened through him going on about how just about anything that goes wrong that he doesn't understand is so wrong, like the whole "why can't farmers just take their milk, or their corn to the market once it's grown and sell it?" stuff, but today's blabbering about the conficker worm thing just about did it.
So funny hearing Spice saying "it's the antivirus companies that write all of these" but that getting the proof is the hard part. Just like any good conspiracy theory, you can't quite find that smoking gun.
Then them making fun of a "dormant" virus... well gee, that's what it was all about, was laying dormant until it was supposed to call home and get instructions on what passwords of yours to steal. The best was Bubba's great idea to invent an electronic condom, software you could run on your computer before you go online and it would protect you from all of these threats ! I'm sure he could go to any of the antivirus/firewall companies with his new idea and they would love to hear of this new revolution.
I might be through. The vanilla terrestrial show doesn't have the stuff I liked the most, no great stunts. He wouldn't miss me, I haven't had a bubbaraw subscription in months.
What else is on 3-7 ?

Isn't that when your old lady does her webcam show?:D
I suggest you call Bubba and tell him how you feel. Preferably after telling him you cancelled your Bubba Raw subscription, and that the show sucks now. Furthermore, tell him you switched to Jason Ellis. I'm sure Bubba cares deeply and will listen to your grievances and respond in a civil manner.

cmdry72 04-11-2009, 01:15 PM if I hear that piece of shit trunk song 1 more time I'm out. For one the song sucks bad, who wants to hear somebodies kid singing? and then about a kid that was murdered senselessly, about her body? sad, sad, sad attempt at humor.

Agreed, Bubba(crew) refuse to admit/realize the making fun of the little girl being murdered and left in the car trunk is what is offensive to so many. Regarding Casey Anthony hell yes do or say anything you want about that worthless piece of crap. There isn't a manner of killing that bitch that would be slow or painful enough IMO. The fact a parody wasn't done concerning the 3 football players drowning in the Gulf after taking a little boat 30 miles off shore shows their true colors. B/C they'd catch too much grief locally and would be blackballed in the Sports Community which would eliminate a lot of freebies for them. I would say they couldn't classify this as a "Tragedy"(according to Bubba) since these were grown men who should have known better but they would spin it to justify their not making one. Won't make a parody about an incident that has to be a top ten finalist in the Darwin Awards. But if you disagree with them in any manner shape or form you are a pussy. They are sounding, acting like the Bush administration aren't they?? Disagree or question us you are un-American.And the selective choosing of what to and what not to parody and spin sounds like Fox News doesn't it? Bubba & Spice did a bit about the pilot dying and a passenger landing the plane (Marco Island) dying of a heart attack is tragic what the hell..Oh yeah the dead pilot is a nobody making fun of him can't hurt or help Bubba. Also they will spin it to say it was all about the passenger who landed the plane and not the Pilot...listen to the original bit.
Shawkur 04-14-2009, 05:32 PM I think the trunk song is a pretty brillant piece of satire, I take away two themes in the song; 1) the importance society places in being able to "put yourself over" and 2) the news media frollicking in human misery and in every gory, salacious detail of these type of cases while disguising it with fake reverential tones, phoney moral outrage, and couching it in the bullshit "publics need to know".
I think the "put yourself over" theme is the one they empathisize the most in the song, in the wider scope this could apply to people put themselves over as "a victim" or "holier and\or more moral than thou", but in this case its mostly the trend to place importance on looking cool and sexy over being a decent person. You could see this thing running wild in the gossip press and all over the internet where you see people paying lip service to being a loving parent (whose kids probably live with grandma or are taken care of nearly 100% by the nanny) while having photos of them partying like a whore every night of the week. This is just a more dramatic example of that because you have this bitch trying to put herself over as cool/sexy, a victim, and a loving mother on the surface while in actually just being a disgusting animal.
I think the second theme might be even more important because without the media drilling these details in our heads over and over and over and over, they would never have made there way into the song for one thing and none of us would be any worse off for not having all this shit pounded into our heads. The authorities could also mostly certainly investigate and prosecute these cases more efficiently without being under media scrutiny every step of the way. How can you mad get at Bubba and Manson when they just doing what the media does by exploiting the gory details of this case, and really just pointing out that is what the media does?

Having worked for an AV company I went red when I heard that but didn't care enough to post on their stupid site. That they said that and actually believe it speak volumes about how extremely ignorant they are.

It could be because it was only a story for about three days instead of some overblown bullshit that got about as much press as the presidential election.
I think the trunk song is over the top. I have a laid back sense of humor, but to parody about the murder of a little girl by her fucked up mom is over the top. And then for Manson to put his own kid on it is just ridiculous. Heard this morning that other stations are passing that song around to advertisers to get them to not advertise on Bubba.
STLSteve 04-14-2009, 07:53 PM I'm not offended by the trunk song. I just don't think it's as brilliantly funny as they make it out to be.

Like when I tell you in hyperbole that I've seen pictures of your wife taking black cock in the ass on web cam as long as it's in hyperbole you shouldn't get mad
