I do not like it that if I visit another person's profile page, they and anyone can see I visited that page. I have not been able to find an option to turn that off or be in some kind of stealth mode.

Is there a way to set some kind of preference so that we can look at a profile page without anyone knowing we looked? If not, can such an option be created?

In the meantime, I will refrain from looking at profile pages.

I agree, it does more to discourage you from looking at people's pages. My guess is there's a lot less profile viewing going on because of it. You also can't view all their posts or threads without them knowing about it (unless you search & that's not the same). What fun is that? :D
