SFN uses lots of advanced code to give you all these bells & whistles. if some it is not working it can be caused by any 1 of the following

- you may have an ad blocker installed which is blocking our code
- you may have javascript off or have a script blocker installed which is blocking our code
- you may have a corrupt cookie

you can fix it by adjusting your browser settings.

CLEAR COOKIES & CACHE
if you are having trouble logging in or staying logged in, you probaly have a corrupt cookie due to the site upgrade.
- firefox: press the CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE keys at the same time. this will open the clear private data box. check "cookies" & "cache". submit the form.
- internet explorer: in the menu bar click Tools | Delete Browsing History. click "Delete files" & "Delete cookies".

TURN ON JAVASCRIPT
you may have javascript turned off for some reason. SFN can't work without it.
- firefox: in the menu bar click Tools | Options. click the "Content" tab. check "Enable javascript" & click OK.
- internet explorer: in the menu bar click Tools | Internet Options. click the "Security" tab. click "Trusted Sites". click "Sites". enter sternfannetwork.com, make sure "Require server verification" is NOT checked, & click Add.

TURN OFF AD BLOCKER / SCRIPT BLOCKER
if you have an ad blocker or script blocker installed like firefox extensions Adblock Plus or NoScript, that's your problem. You need to turn these off for SFN & google. SFN uses several google API scripts to handle all of our AJAX like the light box, editing posts, and much much more. 90% of firefox users with problems browsing SFN are caused by them having a script/ad blocker installed which is keeping SFN from doing what it needs to.

could someone who has these let us know how you can allow SFN & google without having to totally uninstall them?
