What video compression tool do you use.
I am trying to compress some videos that I have downloaded over the years. Every time I compress the video, the audio fucks up.
Are there any tools that do this painlessly?

Just to add a bit more.
If the file is 100MB avi file, I am looking to make the file now a 70MB avi file.

You could use VirtualDub with a Divx or Xvid codec.

I found a few videos explaining how to do it. After watching a few I think this guy explains it in a nutshell. Of course he explains the basics. You can get more tutorials by Googling "VirtualDub compress".
