The one I went to had another special. One Large Side and 4 biscuits for $6 more.:rolleyes: The 8 pieces of chicken were only $5 I wonder if they fooled anyone with that other gimmick.

I deliver stuff to fast food restaurants like produce, meat and boxes of cups, etc and one of the places I deliver to is Popeye's Chicken. The stores on my route severely under ordered and had to borrow chicken from KFC. They had cooks just quit mid-shift cause nobody was prepared to sell literally one ton of fried chicken per store in one day for the higher volume stores. Also most cases will cost the store about 35 dollars and I think there are 20 head per case. (20 8 pieces = 100$ when sold at $5 per 8piece special) Even if it was 16 or 18 head its still a damn good profit. When you factor in the min. wage employee and the sides they probably made a killing. Its the same for KFC and the $1.99 chicken fried steak specials they run, they kill on soda, apple pies and biscuits so its always popular.
