I'm not bashing the show or Howard here. I still enjoy the show and listen to each one in
its entirety. As a long-time listener though, I do agree with people who feel that the show
has gone downhill. I just wanted to point out two things..

1. I think that one BIG reason for the show's decline is Artie Lange. He has 'clearly' taken
the show down a few notches because he is 'clearly' not on the same level as the other
players. Whether he is resorting to 'nigger' or 'faggot' humor, or picking fights with
Beetlejuice or Gary the Retard, he's brought an element of mean-spiritedness to the
show that was not there before. I don't hate Artie... I just don't think he belongs on
the Howard Stern Show. Gilbert Gottfried can pull off that type of humor. So could
Jackie. Artie Lange can't. (IMHO)

2. WTF is up with Robin? As if she wasn't already annoying enough with that horrible
cackle, and crowbarring her worthless remarks at everything Howard says, she's really
gone overboard with that phony, contrived affect in her word enunciation. She sounds
somewhere between Carol Channing and Zsa Zsa Gabor. Give it a rest, Robin. I don't
hate Robin, either. She actually says something funny once in a while. I just can't
take that obnoxious phony accent she puts on as if she really speaks that way.

There; I've said it! Maybe some of these thoughts have already been posted. Sorry if I
bored you by repeating them. If you disagree, that's fine. You're welcome to post your
opinions, too. That's what this section of the Message Board is for.

I guess I'll sit back and take the heat from the haters and the sycophants now.
