Sorry for the late question but I've been busy and never got a chance to find out. I only saw a quick news clip about the fucked up block he made.

I can see putting in the back-up QB for some playing time in the pre-season but why put Farve at wide receiver?

It was a "wildcat" formation.

The better question is, why the fuck wasn't Favre knocked the fuck out when he lined up at WR? If I was a D Coordinator in the NFL, my solution to stopping the wildcat formation is to tell my defense to knock the living fucking shit out of the QB when he lines up at WR. In fact, I'd send one of my OLB out to DB, and bring the DB into the OLB's place. I would also tell the OLB that I expect to see the QB either getting up with his helmet turned 90 degrees so that the QB is looking out the earhole, or, that the QB had just better not get up at all.

I hate the gimmicky, copycat shit in the NFL. You wanna run gimmicks, run the wishbone.

Exactly. That's why I was wondering why you would risk putting a QB in like that.

It was stupid to have Favre blocking in a preseason game. It was stupid to play him against KC when he was there for a few days.
Vikings are in trouble Jerry Jones is going to end revenue sharing. They're going to have to leave Minnesota unless they get a new stadium.
