My attempted apology somehow got deleted with the thread that GHP opened in my honour (and for which I thank her and all those who expressed such kind and generous sentiments), so here it goes again.

I apologize to Mutt, his Staff, and to Angry Black for my post(s) last week in the thread that AB started about JoeyBoots and Joey's latest struggle.

I do not apologize for standing up for Joey, especially since the thread appeared to be intentionally time to coincide with Joey's own unavailability to defend himself (assuming that Joey is ever going to be inclined or able to be active at SFN again).

However, I should not have taken what I said to the level I did.

I will stay out of AB's way -- no matter how great the temptation -- unless and until, someday, he and I experience the same kind of understanding and conciliation that I have been able to enjoy with HPE after our rocky period.

Again, I am sorry for doing anything that any Staff member concluded was "bashing" of a VIP.
