Have you ever seen anything more desperate? This is further proof that the Lebron to NYC hype machine was created by the media for their own benefit. The newspapers, bloggers, tv stations and radio stations benefit the most by the prospect of Lebron leaving Cleveland. Lebron just plays along with it to get attention. Just look at how pathetic the Daily News' website is. Not only do they have a countdown on the left side for a guy to possibly hit free agency, but of the articles written, 4 of them mention Lebron in the title! There is obviously nothing else going on, but the Lebron hype gets otherwise uninterested sports fans to click on the article and maybe read it. So when people say "Lebron needs New York to....." they are full of shit. New York needs Lebron, Lebron doesn't need New York.

I think they started this almost 2 weeks ago. It really is pathetic.

I hope Lebron tells the Knicks he's coming and when it is time to sign on the dotted line I hope he signs with the BULLS or the HEAT (arch rivals). The Knicks deserve nothing. The past ten years have been littered with terrible decisions. New York sports fans do not deserve to have a player like Lebron unless the team is committed to winning. New York sports fans should not have pay the kind of money it would take to get Lebron and watch the team lose all the time. Lebron is great, but still not good enough to take the Knicks to the playoffs by himself. If Lebron came to theKnicks with Dantoni as the coach he would put up 30-40 shots every game.
