JoeyBoots pleasantly surprised us and was able to come and hang out with us for the weekend! Tonight we are going out and meeting up with Captain Janks (there is a link to his website in the LINKS section of SFN). Janks happens to be one of Joey's idols and he is very excited to be meeting him. Tomorrow we are going into the city (Philly) to a place called The Irish Pub. We will probably stop in at Maui (the club where Joey met all the babes last time and we got loaded on penny drinks)first because it is close to The Irish Pub. No pix yet, but don't worry, there will be plenty!

We made the trip out to the designated bar to meet janks and BigShackAttack met us there later.

Shack, what the hell were you boys doing before you got to the bar? you were one partied up dude. maybe we should have dropped by your place on the way.

Janks was at the bar with a bunch of his buds. We had beers, hung out, bullshitted, and Joey picked his brain. It was pretty cool, he was a nice guy and i'm sure we'll swing back.

We went back to his joint and tried loading the site up with webtv. it wouldn't load. Anyone out there have webtv and does the site work for you?

We started partying early so by the time we left Janks' joint we were bombed. We came back to my place and drank vodka, after Widget hit the bed, we went back out and caught the bar just beofre last call. we ordered up some good food and 4 pitchers. Joey left with the last pitcher still half full with lager.

it was a sweet night and yes I'm hung the hell over.

I would love to hear Ms.Widget's take on things.

We went to Janks' joint and we tried to load up SFN on webtv. I'm not really sure why, but janks insisted that I load it up and go thru his email. He thought the site was just OK and that there were others out there. We left to head back to the bar and Janks said he was going to catch a shower. he'd meet us back at the bar in 15 min and before he could finish the sentance it changed to 30 min .. 45 .. 2 hours. 2 hours??!?! What the hell was he thinking, 2 hours. We went home.

Joey, in that one pic you look about a second away from collapsing. Way to go brother! That level of annihilation is a rare and beautiful thing.

Is it just me or... in the thrid pic down (Jeff, Froggie, Scott, JoeyBoots) there's a picture on the wall, and it looks like someone covered up the "c" in canal so that it says "anal". Maybe Joey did that when no one was looking!?

But the funniest part of that pic is Joey posing in an entirely different direction than everyone else in the shot. He musta been wasted!

The night was fun, I am just feeling under the weather and I had to work Saturday morning and I had stuff to do with my kids, so I wasn't much of a party animal this weekend. It is hard enough to work and function as a mother while nursing a hangover, but throw being sick on top of that and it is virtually impossible. I am afraid I wasn't much fun this weekend, but I think the rest of the crowd had a good time! Joey is so funny! He makes me laugh a lot! He is very quick witted and his stories are hilarious!

It is now Sunday and I have attended two ice hockey games, (my ten year old had a tournament this weekend - his team won!) I am waiting for Mutt and Boots to get back from running errands and then Mutt and me and the kids are off to brace the crowds at the grocery store (getting set up to be snowed in). We are planning of buying a futon today and some clothes at Old Navy for my boys.

"There's more to this than meets the eye"

Just wanted to add a few words about this weekend. Again it was another exciting weekend meeting new people and drinking. Getting to meet a legend such as Janks was really cool for me. He was a real normal guy who likes to pound his beers and get highly intoxicated just like me. He told me that during the car crash call he did, he used the wreck off of Detroit Rock City by KISS. We talked about a bunch of his other calls and about some of the other wack-packers he knows. We also met the drummer from Kenneth Keith Kallenbach's band and he had some funny stories about how Kenneth would harrass anyone who hired them for a gig with demands for an expensive hotel and limo. He was upset that Kenneth burned all their bridges and ruined a good thing they had going. All in all Janks and I promised to stay in touch and possibly do something together.......I guess you will all find out when we do. Thanks Mutt and Widget for another great time ! Peace.

Oh......and Mutt......that Jeff guy dating your cousin seemed like a real swell guy and no disrespect to him, but if he happens to die in a horrible car crash I would like to be informed so I can comfort your cousin.

I wanted to report my take on the chaos that was friday night. I had a killer time. Joey Boots rocks. Loved him. So friendly, funny, fluffy, and cool. We had a blast. Janks was...not what I expected. The best part was the gleam in Boots' eyes seeing an icon. He was telling me stories about what Janks has done, because I didn't really know much about him. I learned alot about the assholery. Mutt, I wanna thank you again for posting the wasted pic of me, dick.

I decided a long time ago to post the way that I would speak to a friend instead of the way i would a proposal. We're not a news page so I like the site to be fun. I've completely given up on full or proper sentences. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you found posts with no punctuation at all and run on sentences with 6 and in them. Slang typos & misspellings fill my posts. Most of my post are made in a rush & while answering the email or working in the control panel jumping from window to window. I often don't read what I've typed until the next day.

I should be a little more careful, but I'm not :) I'm lucky if I remember to run the spell checker (http://www.iespell.com) before hitting the submit button.
