It’s OK……. you can go there. It’s always a good thing to know about the competition. Btw I thought O&A were just in the NYC area?….isn’t Penthouse National? 13 days.......

I read the article and man they do talk about Howard alot. They just did it for the attention because as we all know, Howard Stern gets attention.

Right again, LoveBug. They might as well have put pictures of Howard in their magazine. They probably asked Howard for an interview and when he turned them down, they did a piece on these two clones in order to justify printing Howard's name all over the damn place.

I can't believe I read that HOLE article. Well, almost all of it. It sounds to me that
these guys might be "almost" cool. Maybe it is just their hardcore fans that are total losers? Yes? No?

Anthony is somewhat funny...but then again, sometimes Benji is...and you don't hear him on the radio 5 hours a day. The fact is, they have brainwashed their fans into thinking that they do original stuff and they really don't. They have been milking their one orignial idea for over 5 years! Also, the only people who think that they are so great are people in NY. People in Boston have forgotten about them in such a short period of time. I'm sure there are fans in Chicago who think that Mancow is the best. So, the answer to your question is basically no...these guys are not all that cool. They are just two more imitators that are getting by because of lack of competition in the afternoons and they use Howard's format.

I have on occassion checked out their fan's message boards and I have to tell you their sense of humor is very different from Stern fans. I really can't PUT MY FINGER ON IT. Odd. Sophomoric. Definitely less sophisticated. To each is own I quess. Some like hamburgers and fries. I happen to like Steak and Lobster.

Exactly...Their fans are all 17 years old, which is find. But Howard's fans range from 15-60 and he actually has intelligent things to say about current events. O&A talk about teenage girls and baseball.

Last night I was talking to a friend of mine who said that she loves Howard but doesn't listen to him anymore because he is on so early. She did tell me that she listens to O&A now and at first thought they were imitators but has since thought differently. When I first heard about these guys, I did give them a chance but the few times I listened to them, I thought I was listening to Howard's show all over again. That is what their fans can't realize; that they do the same shit that Howard did that same day. They think these guys are being authentic but they aren't.

Well LoveBug, I’d listen to them if they were here…...nothing else is on (fm) in the afternoon. I object to them wrapping themselves in a 1st amendment argument (the gag order) because their not real competitors of Howard. They were hired solely to stifle Howards contract bargaining position.
