How do you's go to that o&a board knowing that timj's over there with his 5th grade post & replys???

asteve, you said you were from NY and have listened to them before. Just curious, what did you find uninteresting about them.

They have comics on every day that are really funny, Jay Mohr, Brian Regan, Stephen Lynch, Jim Breuer, Jim Norton, Adam Ferrera, even Dice has been stupid but funny. They are very interactive with their audience with phone, instant feedback, messageboard, and use of the Stinky cam that shows people what is going on in studio. They also have clips from things you could not see on their foundry site.

Anthony does a better Maddog impersonation than Maddog. His reagan and his dice and his qvc guy are awesome.

I don't know how long you have listened to them, but do this. Listen to them for one week straight for as much as you can and than see if your opinion changed. From my posts you know I listen to Stern too. I am not the diehard O&A fan TimJ is. I try not to bash Howard except when his show bores the hell out of me.

You seem reasonable enough that you can form your own opinion. Don't dismiss them because that is the cool thing to do. They are on at 2 totally different times and can be enjoyed together.

In the past they have said good things about Stern. Anthony was even on his show a few years ago. They said Stern paved the way for them. They are not imitators just because they do a radio show and discuss sex. I have used this analogy in the past. That means ER is copying Mash because they are shows that deal with doctors.

You can call it using ideas and taking them to new levels, yes, but copying Stern, defintely not.

I like Tim. He is very passionate, and wears his heart on his sleeve. Some of his posts are way out there, and that's OK.

I listen to o&a when i'm in my car, if mike n the mad dogg are on break and if krock is playing a bad song, so thats how i rate o&a, their #3 in afternoons in my book and when i listen to them its like listening to a 2nd rate stern show, sorry thats just how i feel!!!

The dickhead moderaters on the O&A delete anyhting that is negative about O&A on their message board.

Isn't it great that we have a non-censored board here for all to enjoy? Even moron O&A posters

Both boards have their good and bad sides. I understand why the O&A board is moderated. I also understand why this board is not.

Because O&A's fans can dish it out but they can't take the heat.

I've seen a few "deleted" posts on the O&A board before they were deleted. I can tell you that the deleted posts were all flames that didn't contribute to the discussion one bit. It seems that the people who don't like O&A take it upon themselves to post excessive amounts of crap. If the posts weren't deleted, the O&A board would be unusable (due to the amount of crap posted by whomever). This is why the O&A board is moderated.

This board doesn't seem to have the recurring problem of multiple flaming topics being posted by a single individual. When this type of flaming happens here, the offending individual's ISP is notified, and the user is likely dropped by their ISP (or, at least warned). It's just another way of moderating the board without saying the board is moderated.
