Braves Vs Astros...
The Astros have never won a playoff series. The Braves are in for a 10th straight time, but have lost seven straight postseason games./////////////

Seattle Vs Cleveland...
The Mariners did everything right in the regular season. It'll be up to Freddy Garcia to keep it going in Game 1 of the ALDS against the Indians.///////////

D'backs Vs Cards...
Will aces rule?
Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling combined for 43 wins, but the Cards have 22-game winner Matt Morris and super rookie Albert Pujols.///////

Yanks Vs A's...
They meet A-gain
Last year, the Yankees survived a scare from the A's before winning their third straight title. Can the A's finish the job this year?////////////

Who will win and how???

I say the Braves beat the Astros, pitching always wins... D'backs beat the cards for the same reason, Seattle beats Cleveland and meets the Yanks in the championship round, Yanks win, go to the world series and sweep the D'backs!!!

What do you think will happen???

I'll tell you what I think will happen. I will turn on a baseball game, watch it for about 1 minute, and then say to myself "what the hell am I doing watching a baseball game, when there's a hockey game on?! Personally, I'd rather watch regular season hockey than World series baseball anytime.

Sorry asteve5, just giving you a hard time.

I think you might be the only one, seeing that, most NHL PLAYOFF games were not even sold out, I know here in the New York area, no one I know gives two shits about hockey but to each his own!!!

Well I'm from L.A., and they were sold out here. But other than that, I do agree...to each his own. I guess that's just my bitter way of making fun of a sport that draws in more fans than my beloved sport, even though mine is more exciting!:cm:

Don't know about a sweep, but I also go with the M's over D'backs!

Give credit to Oakland for not throwing in the towel when they were bad in the first month or so.

M's got it all, and since they faced NY last year in the ALCS, they won't be awestruck!

Hard to top the 2 best pitchers in the NL for Arizona!

there still is baseball?! i thought that sport died! i really don't care anyway. here in philly we have the worst owners around. they don't give two shits about the team. and the fans a re showing them by not showing up. they were either in 1st or a game or 2 behind all season and still it did not draw a crowd! i say in this city, baseball is dead!!!

Yeah definitely, I remember last month, the phillies were in first place playing the braves who were in second place at the time and they couldn't even get 20 thousand in the stadium and I don't blame the Philly fans, the owners put about 2 cents into that team and their stadium!!!

Fugly said: I LOVE THE PLAYOFFS, Why? Because all of the Seattle players, fans and media were babbling about how the Yankees were nothing and how the Mariners were the most dominant team in baseball ever. And now it's the 8th inning and those stupid fuckers are getting spanked. This is a big F YOU to them-especially Jeff Nelson: big crybaby. That is all.////////

I agree 100%, Fug!!!

White Sox have had this problem for 20 years, especially since they tore down old Comiskey!

How bout them Yanks, my A's took it to them, just goes to show you after so long you cant buy championships (what the Yankees have done) The A's have a nucleus of young talent that feed off of one another, I just hate to see the cash strapped A's lose Jason Giambi to the fat belly pigs of the Yankees, hate that team, they just buy players left and right, typical of new york sports

Hey dum, dum, What about Bernie Williams, Alfonso Sorino, Derek Jeter, Marino Rivera, Ramaro Mendozo, Andy Pettite, Orlando Hernendez, Shane Spencer, Nick Johnson... All from the farm system and when their farm system contracts are up, The yanks re-sign them, not like the A's who can't afford shit because no one ever goes to the stadium except when it gets to playoff time, so Nigga Please, you obviously no nothing about baseball!!!

Btw, About the A's winning game one, they did the same last year and what happened last year, I think you remember but hey if the A's win, great, I actually think that it's bad for baseball to have one team to win four championships in a row but I still route for the yanks!!!
