The Fight Friday Morning May 31st 2002</b><br>

I had only been sleeping for an hour or two when Boots,HPE, and DrDave started getting ready for the fight.
I hadn't slept or ate in days.
I had been up getting SFN2 running for nights and then tack on a late night of partying, and I was dead.
As they were leaving, I drug myself out of bed and eventually downstairs.
After waiting in line, security informed me that you couldn't bring in cameras.
I went back to the room, downed a beer, tied the camera strap to my belt loop, and slipped the camera into my pants.
Our seat was right next to 2 security guards.
How the hell was I going to take any photos?
I could barely stay away. I chugged 3 Red Bulls, ate 2 Snickers bars, and popped some Stacker 2s.
When the fight started, I got my 25th second wind, and was good for hours!
Eventually, I started to sneak up front.
I saw someone with a camera and figured I'd give it a shot.
Everything worked out and I was able to get these fine pics before getting ejected.
OK, I was asked to leave several times but stayed in it for you guys.
I had an extra ticket and figured that worse case senario, I go back in with it and sit in the other seat.

The fight was exciting.
The room was full of energy and the fight was action packed.
Cabbie fights like Bluto.
He stood there as the little guy threw a 100 punches that just bounced right off him.
Then he'd lift his huge meaty paw and throw one powerful blow at the annoying little fly, knocking him to the ground.
you could hear the crownd cringe as he hit John with one of those power punches.
John would take the hit, and keep coming at him.
He wouldn't let up.
<p>
If this was a street fight, Cabbie would have been the obvious winner.
John was beat up, Cabbie wasn't.
But this was a boxing match, and Cabbie wasn't scoring points.
Who was beat up more wasn't important.
To win a boxing match, you either need a high score or beat the guy until he goes down.
John didn't go down.
Way to go John! We're all really proud of you.

The Fight Friday Morning May 31st 2002</b><br>

I had only been sleeping for an hour or two when Boots,HPE, and DrDave started getting ready for the fight.
I hadn't slept or ate in days.
I had been up getting SFN2 running for nights and then tack on a late night of partying, and I was dead.
As they were leaving, I drug myself out of bed and eventually downstairs.
After waiting in line, security informed me that you couldn't bring in cameras.
I went back to the room, downed a beer, tied the camera strap to my belt loop, and slipped the camera into my pants.
Our seat was right next to 2 security guards.
How the hell was I going to take any photos?
I could barely stay away. I chugged 3 Red Bulls, ate 2 Snickers bars, and popped some Stacker 2s.
When the fight started, I got my 25th second wind, and was good for hours!
Eventually, I started to sneak up front.
I saw someone with a camera and figured I'd give it a shot.
Everything worked out and I was able to get these fine pics before getting ejected.
OK, I was asked to leave several times but stayed in it for you guys.
I had an extra ticket and figured that worse case senario, I go back in with it and sit in the other seat.
<p>
The fight was exciting.
The room was full of energy and the fight was action packed.
Cabbie fights like Bluto.
He stood there as the little guy threw a 100 punches that just bounced right off him.
Then he'd lift his huge meaty paw and throw one powerful blow at the annoying little fly, knocking him to the ground.
you could hear the crownd cringe as he hit John with one of those power punches.
John would take the hit, and keep coming at him.
He wouldn't let up.
<p>
If this was a street fight, Cabbie would have been the obvious winner.
John was beat up, Cabbie wasn't.
But this was a boxing match, and Cabbie wasn't scoring points.
Who was beat up more wasn't important.
To win a boxing match, you either need a high score or beat the guy until he goes down.
John didn't go down.
Way to go John! We're all really proud of you.
