Kid Chris was on the show recently, and they joked around that when he gets kicked off of the Philly station due to the FCC, he can join Howard at Sirius.

Leykis is even represented by Don Buchwald.

Out of all the clones they had at WBUF Buffalo, Leykis is the only one I could listen to, his woman bashing is a one trick pony but it is funny, I can listen to him without switching stations after 5 minutes....

Leykis says he will sign to whatever company gives him the best offer and I think he makes around 10 million per year right now. He gives credit to Howard for revolutionizing talk radio. I think he'd be a great addition to Sirius.

Hendrie is already on XM and it doesn't seem like he gets huge ratings. Bubba the loves Sponge had a big audience in the south and was #1 in males 18-34. I'd love to see Howard put Imus and Mancow on one of his channels just so he can fuck with them.

I used to listen to his show in 98 - 99 and it was good. I heard it again when I was in LA this summer and I think he ran out of things to talk about and the quality of his callers dropped.

Still, if he gets a Siruis deal, thats more money for Buchwald and probably Howard.

Tom Leykis is the 2nd best thing on KLSX. Way better than the god awful Frosty, Heidi, and Frank show.

Personally, I can't see hendrie as being very fit for satellite exclusivity; a lot of the show (my favorite parts at least) depends on random idiots hearing the show as they flip through the channels. I think a lot of this would go away if he could only be heard on satellite.

I think he hates them the most because they (one of them, I don't know which) appeared on his show, and claimed to be huge fans. Then they get a job on WNEW, which was/is owned by Howard's company, and they started talking alot of shit about him. I think that Howard realized that if he kept talking about them, he was just 'fanning the flames.'

Anthony appeared on his show and Howard said he was funny until he said he was working with another dj named Opie in massachussetts.


I was a listener since after like 6 months after they debuted in NY. They always praised Howard and gave him credit for the type of radio. Howard flipped out on them and had them bound and gagged after they announced that one of Howard's daughters was escorted out of Z100's Jingle Ball throwing up after she was heavily drinking and taking drugs. This was the night before Howard announced his new contract with Infinity. After that all hell broke loose. According to them Howard had Tom tell bands like Staind, Aerosmith, etc that they could not go to WNEW or there music would not be played on Krock nor would they ever be part of an Krock event.

The first time I ever heard Howard mention them by name (not clones) was after they were fired.
