based on the show today, which was virtually a morning zoo come to life on the stern show, I can't believe stern is hugging this guy's nuts... this was the show I turn off in areas that don't get stern... the way they were forcing their laughs at bubba's babble... never thought I'd see the day on stern...

I'm glad that bubba publicly acknowledges that Howard is the King and is on the team and I hope his show draws some of his fans to Sirius. That could only help Howard and Mel and their vision.

I don't think I'll be tuning in to him however. Here's a clip of him telling the story of how he got his name. His style is just not for me.

I actually changed my opinion on Bubba on THE SHOW. He came across as well as he could have and said all the right things, without coming off like a completely pussy. I think Howard is really manning up and swallowing his pride for the greater cause. :boobies:

After being a listener to The Show i think everyone's standards are high. I think that a lot more people dislike him right now because of the past. I just think that it seems like it's going to be another show like Howard's, just not as good.. like a knock off but on the same station ( but apparently with Nascar)

i'll try BTLS out but, like others have said, i don't think he's my style. that's ok though. Howard has to program 48 hours of radio a day (if there's no repeats...which i'm sure there will be). he has to outsource somewhere. i think it's a smart move to bring more people to SIRIUS who wouldn't come just becuase of Howard. If this brings more people to SIRIUS, i'm all for it. But when Bubba comes on, i'll more than likely just tun out :)
