Hey, I'm looking to buy into sirius soon. But I have no idea which ones to buy.

I need a portable unit that can be used in my car (with FM modulator) and used at work *with headphones* and be able to hook it up to my stereo at home.

What sort of antennaes do I need, and whats the reception going to be like if I'm in the middle of an office building?

I don't need some jumbo assed sized boombox. It's a shame Sirius doesn't have a walkman-like receiver... yet. or do they?

go to www.siriusbackstage.com for your research. as far as getting stations in when you aren't near a window it's not a problem if you are in a metro but if you aren't you can forget about it.

When you say metro, do you need to be in the city? I'm in the Phila. suburbs (Wayne) with a cube by the window (great FM radio reception) but can't get a signal for SIRIUS. It's north/northwest facing so I thought I'd be good to go but no go.
