I have the Xact receiver. The battery pack to make it portable is another 120 bucks... and its too big to fit in your pocket.

The new receiver coming out is just basically an MP3 player and recorder.

I want a true, small walkman so I can have my Sirius wherever I go.

My iRiver goes everywhere with me and its a lifesaver when you are at the doctor's office waiting for an eternity.

Surely there is a legitimate interest in a true walkman??

the S50 doesnt receive live transmissions on the go, it has to be docked to hear anything live

XM dosen't have a truly portable reciever either. The one they claim is portable gets terrible reception and you have to wear a goofy antenna. Truly portable satellite technology is a few years off I'm afraid.

Looks like Wal-mart is going to be selling the Rego if and when they get it in stock. Orbitcast.com thinks it will sell for cheaper than the listed price.

That's just an overpriced mp3 player.
