ya know, when H first announced this deal i was REALLLL Pissed off........now i'm mainly just disappointed......

i'd actully consider subscribing to this now if I had access to it (i have DirecTV now). There's no way in hell i'm taking a step backwards and getting cable again! In my area there is only Charter Cable and my household was being raped with only 76 channels for roughly $80/month!

I pay MUCH LESS than that now for DirecTV and have HBO, Showtime, plus Hundreds of other channels which i previously couldn't get.....

I'd consider subbing to an Internet service similar to the On Demand model but, Alas, Howard has always downplayed the internet and has been paranoid about putting his matterial on the internet.....Hopefully, H takes a cue from the music industry and realizes that if he doesn't embrace the internet(like the music biz did with Itunes, Napster, etc.), then piracy will remain rampant ;)

Hopefully in 3 years when the InDemand contract expires, Howard wises up and signs a non-exclusive Sattelite and Cable TV agreement (like the WWE)

saw a lot of construction going on but didnt venture to that end of the floor..........the whole place is the shit man.....so many studios and production rooms.....shows side by side........saw the gay shows studio while they were broadcasting and saw Cousin Brucies studio and he has pics of himself wearing different toupe's all over.....lotsa positive energized people up there creating shit.....a very cool enviroment.....lotsa stuff going on.....gravitas indeed. :hw:

Its gonna be great to see all the old E shows uncensored with tons of new footage added in. I am pissed I can't get it on satellite tv though its gonna meen lots of hunting with bittorrent, but I'll live.....

I’ve had Directv since 1997 and have never once considered giving it up for cable because they suck so bad. Earlier this year I got Directv TIVO’s and have been even more in love with them. I’m now really down I can’t get InDemand. I’m not saying I’m giving up Directv but I’m really considering it at this point. I can get Comcast in my area but I’ve watched it and it’s still taking a step back from Directv. This really sucks. Perhaps Verizon ViOS will launch soon here then my choice may be more difficult.

Sirius is worth it because you get so much more than Howard. The TV show is a rip off...Take care of your fans Howard, don't rape us!!

You’re shitting me, right? Dude Sirius is next to nothing and you get everything else they carry. The Sirius cost is nothing for what you get. In Demand/On Demand is also very little if they show half what Howard has talked about. I’d be more than willing to pay the price, that’s not my problem. I hate giving up a better service, if only Directv could carry it, I’d be more than happy to purchase. Who knows, I may still switch.

either way you look at it it still kinda sucks. it sucks for the satellite users which is a significant portion of the population and it sucks for the rest of us who bought the sirius and now have to buy on-demand.

i just think howard should've stopped at sirius and re-upped his contract with E.
