View Full Version : I just ordered my Ondemand
james_stewart 10-20-2005, 12:42 AM I have DirectTV, and was scared I wouldn't be able to see Howard's new InDemand content. So today I made a few calls and was pleasantly suprised. I currently have Comcast Internet service that runs me about $65 (yuk!). I called and ordered basic cable for $10 plus a digital box for 5 bucks a month. Plus to top it off I get a $10 a month discount for having both Comcast internet and Comcast cable TV. I'm stoked and can't wait for the InDemand shows to start appearing. I have a feeling, from what the customer service girl was saying (she is a huge Howard fan herself, and sounded hot ;) ) that Howard might even show some of his radio show live on TV from time to time. This would be amazing.
NWSternGirl 10-20-2005, 12:46 AM I, too, have DirecTV. I have Verizon DSL, though. Who is your local phone service through: Verizon or Quest?
havoc 10-20-2005, 12:49 AM shit i wish i had the paper for that. my nigga stopped paying our cable bill so he owes like 300 before they will turn it back on. sucks cuz on demand sounds baller.
baldrick5 10-20-2005, 01:37 AM i'm in the same boat as you James_Stewart. Hopefully Charter (cable company in my area) will have a similar deal. I also have Charter Internet. Hopefully i can get the lowest tier subscription for cable tv+digital box and then i'll also subscribe to Howard Stern On Demand :D
Hopefully no more than $30/month ;)

I don't have a home phone service. We use 2 sprint phones and last year we ordered the new VoiP service for $20 a month. It really helped that I had Comcast and got that $10 a month discount :)

I'm in the same predicament. I have directv, SBC for internet and phone, and was thinking of getting Comcast for my bedroom but that would be another $50, I think... plus the $10 for Howard's channel!
Fuck!! what to do, what to do?

Charter is in my area, but i havent gotten a straight answer that they will be carrying his On Demand channel...do you know if they will? Im in the STL area, im assuming they will since they have other on demand channels and carry In Demand.
