I have been listening to Howard 100 News for the past 5 hours!

My favorite bumper is the one about it being the most listened to All-Howard-News channel in the country!

I think this is the most innovative thing I've ever heard on radio, and as a long-time Stern fan I don't know why I would ever bother changing the channel.

I have not changed the channel since Thursday morning. I don't think it will ever be of 100. Even the repeats they are playing now are still funny.

Plus I like hearing my self on it!

I think it's great and I hope they expand their coverage. I would like them to stretch the limits of what is deemed Howard related. I think it should always be Howard news but include topics that are only loosely associatied with him. Bah, maybe thats a bad idea. Keep it pure. I guess I just want to hear more. :)

I think I heard Howard say something about them working this weekend. Maybe they are just producing recorded segments, though. We'll find out at 6.

My 3 favorite scoops so far has been.

1. Robin called Mr. X "Howard" after they banged one time

2. Jackie was fucking with Baba over the fiancee thing

3. Arties moms first reaction to him being busted for coke was to get him food

What makes it really work is that it's totally serious and professional in form, but the content is all from Howard's fucked up universe. He could have gone with a jokey parody of the news, but instead he hired a bunch of news vets and let them do the work they've always done. It's genius!

This is the first real piece we've seen of what the channels will be when they go fully live in January, and it's a good sign of things to come.

More Americans listen to Howard 100 News than any other All-Howard news channel!

Howard 100 news is kind of boring, but it's better than dead air. There have been a couple of marginally interesting pieces on it. Howard 100 will be great because of Howard's show...I doubt there will be that much other superb content on it.

I think all the wack pack stuff is being way overused. I have no desire to listen to Wendy or HPE for 24 hours or even for a 10 minute stretch. But it is cool because it is so different and I can appreciate it in principle even if I don't listen to it.

I can't wait till Howard gets to Sirius, but I don't really care about the rest of the channel that much. I just see it as sort of a "free" added bonus, so anything will just be icing on the cake that is Howard's Sirius show.

Of course they can't interview any Stern show staff at this point, so you'll probably enjoy it more in January, once the reporters can roam the halls and back offices.

I expect to hear followups to on air arguments, for example. Like Gary's side of the story that he couldn't get out on the show, because they were playing a Bababooey song every time he opened his mouth.

Is Howard 100 streaming on the Sirius website, like the rest of their programming? Cuz I know in my studio at work I won't be able to get reception.

I think that they could do great segments like "THIS IS YOUR LIFE" or like an A&E Biography for all the Wack Packers and the Stern Show crew. That would be great. Or a tribute to Hank.

A tribute to Hank would be nice. He changed my life. He proved alcohol and brain cells can co-exist... :o
