I listened to the Bubba interview of High Pitch Eric on tonight's news, and I'm giving Bubba a big thumbs down. I don't know what it is, but the guy does not impress me. He must do something right for the King to want him on his channel, but I found his input very forced and predetermined. For example, he must have used "fuck" a dozen or more times in about three minutes, and not once did it sound like an off-the-cuff remark. It seemed to me that he must be getting paid everytime he uses the f-bomb.

On the other hand, his comment about scraping the butter off of Eric's teeth (referring to the yellowness of HPE's chompers) was funny.

Hopefully he'll get better, but my first impression of him is that he's a bore, hack, and not overly funny. Although, at the time that I was listening to him I was looking out over the Atlantic Ocean and wishing that I could go surfing on the 10-15 foot waves that we are getting right now, and I was kind of bummed that darkness was soon to be upon me. That experience may have jaded my mood.

ah i thought it was good. I gotta hand it to him, i wouldn't have entered HPE's fortress of solitude or should i call it fortress of stench.

Bubba is funny as hell!!! And he's a brave motherfucker, too, I could smell HPE's apartment from here!!!!

i didn't know if i'd like the guy.....i remember on this very website i was slamming him when he started airing in the NYC market outta connecticut and he was claiming how he would defeat HOWARD............now I now honestly think he is a good choice by HOWARD to be representative of HIM prior to HIM getting on the air at SIRIUS.........so far i have not gotten douche chills from the guy which is indicative to ones suckiness. :hw:

He still hasn't done anything to bowl me over yet. Alot of his humor seems canned, almost like he is reading from a script. And that interview with HPE tonight almost sounded like his comments were recorded later, like he was fixing what he said. I am going to have to listen to it again to be sure.

I loved him talking about how Broadway was kinda gay.

I was wary of Bubba at first but I think the stuff he is doing for H100 News is pretty good. I laughed my ass off at the HPE thing yesterday. The part where he asked HPE about his weight was funny.

I think it will all come down to how well his actual show is pulled off. I don't know if he can maintain a 2-4 hour show like Howard.

Bubba may have been trying a bit too hard, or maybe he's a little rusty, but I thought he was pretty good. The experience of visiting HPE's apartment should probably only be done over the air - never in person. Got to hand it to Bubba - nice job. What's next - Jeff's room in the trailer?

Bubba's roast of HPE was great! I think he'd be great to regularly interview people like HPE who the fans doing really like.
