Can anyone give me pointers on how to install the car kit for the Sportster? I ma wondering where I should place the antenna and how to run the wire from the outside of the car to the inside? It is for a VW Passat if that helps. Is there a website to go to?

you dont actually have to put it on the outside. you can just put it on the inside where it can see out of a window...

That's intersting. Since I got my unit a few days ago I have been looking at everycar and have not seen one single sirius attenna on any roof. maybe your onto something.

Do you have any reception problems with it in the window? I would love to put it in my back window and not have to run it outside.

I snaked mine to the back window, and it sits there unmoved. I bought one of those sticky-pad things to put it on. There's probably dust all around it since it hasn't moved an inch since I put it there.
