After braving the start of Labor Day Weekend Friday rush hour traffic at the GWB, it was smooth sailing all the way to Medford for the Murderer's Row Comedy show with special guest, Sal the Stockbroker. When I pulled up to the venue, the party had already started in the parking lot. Boots, Zolar, HPE, Kearakat, Ian, Rev Bob Levy, & Big Jimmy Graham were already gettin primed for a great night of comedy. Once the show started, every single performer had the crowd in constant tears of laughter. These guys are a must-see, and any description I attempt to make will not do it justice. I would like to say that KC impressed the hell out of me. I was expecting to hear variations of the stuff that Jackie originally wrote for him, plus some lame additions of the standard pedephilia jokes, but his own material was so strong that he had the crowd eating out of his hand by the time he was done (as opposed to Rev, Bob, who prefers to eat out of parts of the crowd instead). Sal had the crowd rolling on the floor, with a whole slew of new material and spontaneous comedy that was nothing short of hilarious. Its hard to believe that this guy has only been doing stand up for such a short period of time. I'm always afraid when I go to see a friend perform that I'll have to console them if they bomb, but with Sal, I never have that problem because he comes through every time with the goods! I didn't go trigger happy with the camera this time, but here's what I got...
