not to goof on the king, but the first picture from 2002 and the second one from 2001 are strange. 2002 looks like he has cans, must be the way the shirt hangs. 2001 - he really should eat something. I jog too but I also lift weights and eat normal foods. His body looks like that of a female runner in that pic.

Is it just me, or is Howard starting to look a little like Elliot Offen?

I kinda thought the 2002 photos were strange only cause it looks like he's busting on someones wedding reception or rabi barmitzva or something. People (kids) in the background are in tux's and Howie is sporting a blue plaid lumberjack shirt. I wonder if this is where he got his idea to sell his soul for people to put him in their wills? Didn't he say he would do a eulogy for bucks, and even dig the hole for bucks? He probably told that to one of the kids, and it scared him (look at 2002 photo #2...kid is lookin at Howie like 'What the fuck did you just say?'

I agree about the nose job.Come to think of it, he never talks about wanting to get one anymore.It really didn't make him any better looking,I don't know why he bothered.
Also he has the ugliest legs I ever saw.For someone who runs and does weight training he has no muscle definition or calf development.

it's VERY difficult for most people to add bulk. Slightly less difficult for men than women, but still DIFFICULT. some people are naturally "bulky". My best friend was like that. He did weight training and had 22 inch arms, but he was born to be a BIg guy. he never started out with Howard's body type.

Howard is a naturally slim person. and don't forget how he talked about his youth! he said his mother brought him up to be a veal. (Always loved that line!) :D

in other words - he was NEVER encouraged to exercise. ever! so during the years when your body really needs it, (pre and during puberty and post-puberty), he was sitting around with his puppets trying to make old people have heart attacks. Not that was wrong, :D - but if he had been raised by my mother he also would have been exercising.

at this point in his life the best he can do is be toned and not get fat. Dancers are VERY toned, but they are not BULKY. they have long, slim muscles. and, believe me, you have to be strong to whip your body around the way they do. Howard is doing great considering the fact that he didn't start out in life with the best advise from mom.

I admire his discipline. but this singlemindedness is what has made him a success on the radio.

as for his nose, no one can do anything about the face they were born with. not really. being healthy is the best thing. Howard may not be beautiful, but he does work on being healthy. and THAT is very attractive. I don't care what's going on with his nose.

All those people he has critiqued and made fun of have claimed they exercise too.Do you laugh along with Howard,agreeing with his assessment,or do you make excuses for them too?
I always thought that with Howard,what you see is what you get.What I get is someone who is not very good looking and should be able to take the criticism if he is going to dish it out.I think he is a big boy and knows that he will never be considered a handsome man.I also think that he doesn't need the likes of you defending him from the likes of me.

Sorry, I'm with Kali. We like our men healthy. As for a nose job, file that under Who Cares? If he had one it's the worst one I have seen except for the pig noses that some people (like Michael Jackson)and you can see up their nostrils. No need to fight over nature. The show is one thing and life is another:)

howards attitude ON the Show I understand completely. showing people's warts for entertainment is, well....entertaining. and I love it!

but members of a board trying to "understand" why THEY think howard - in real life looks too skinny for their taste is just plain silly. THAT'S the attitude I don't get.

These people here are simply not being HONEST. if you look at the real live Howard you will see a guy that is naturally slim - but healthy! (Thanks Anarchess, you git my point exactly!)

since you work out, then obviously you know that our genes determine our *natural* body type. i guess that was a mental slip on your part.

i'd rather have an aerobically fit body (which i do) than ripped with giant muscles. the latter is just fucking useless unless you're an actor, bodybuilder, or too damn ugly to get chicks otherwise. if one of these big guys come after me, i'd just outrun them, lol.

as far as health and longevity, i'd put my money on a marathon runner over a bodybuilder.

lol morning wood - i'll gladly tell you my specs. I'm 6'5'' (like Howard) and 204lbs. Maybe that's why I can say that he is too thin, because I have the same body type - but have maintained some muscle (not much, but more than Howard) in my physical fitness. Howard seems to have starved himself to the point where weight-training is completely useless. Everyone can be how they want to be, if you are happy then that's all that matters.

Well, if I am gonna go just on photos..and Howard does it to others....I can honestly say that Howard is one sickeningly hideous looking guy...he is uglier than Gary, Fred, Stuttering John and Jackie. stuttering john is no prize. he's gotten fat and let himself go to hell! Fred is not a beauty, but I like his face. there is something rugged and masculine about it. PLUS, he is REALLY intelligent, and believe me, that makes a guy look much better than just the features on his face.

I know this is hard for some guys to understand this concept, but there you have it.

even tho artie needs to drop a few pounds, because he's a cute person, he looks cute. if he was as dumb as benji, he'd be ugly. and benji sure the hell is F-UGLY!!!!

this morning Robin said she didn't like Hugh Jackman because she doesn't like his looks!!! well, I've known for some time that she and I don't have the same taste in men! (she actually likes that dumbo richard greer!!!). I think Hugh is a major BABE!!!! and it's not just because he's got a great body! I saw him on SNL and other films and he's very talented. the guy is smart. that makes him REALLY attractive.
