So I'm in Vegas Sin Fucking City... I'm standing with my portable Sirius outside of the Casino listerning to Howard... I am a sick man.. Time to go out and start drinking!!!! The good part was that where I was on New Years I could see the entire strip from the Luxor to the Stratuspere.. I am really new (the forum), really happy (Sirius Subscription), really jacked with my 2 S50's (1 for car, 1 for home, ("swap out" to record and listen on the way to work) (can't listen live) and extremely excited to be following Howard into the new year.

What a fantastic night! It was so great to hear Howard. I was deep in the woods of New Hampshire at a party and snuck out to my car to listen, even though I was taping the show at home from my other receiver.

Mutt, and NWSternFan, i'm new to this site (certainly not a new Stern fan, turned on to him on YSP back in 94) and forgive me for forgetting others who put this site together, but hats off to you both. Great to get some props from the king himself.

What a night... Sal and Richard Christy up to their gay selves, Baba Booey and Jackson makes his Sirius debut (maybe it's me, but Jackson sounds like the people who make fun of Gary on the show, I was hoping he'd say the word "boss" so we could hear "bofff")... well worth freezing in my car for a few minutes. I listened to the rest at home and wow.

Also about Tom Chiasano: I'll post on another thread but hats off to him, seriously. You could tell that he didn't want to have to censor all that he did, but he had to. Sure, he could have caved in and faced the music, but if you have a job and a contract, you respect it. That simple. However once his Infinity deal is up, you have to think that Tom would be dying to come over to Sirius.

I just have to say that last night was so beautiful. We all talk about the 1st ammendment so much, but to those outside of Howard's listening audience, there is no issue with the 1st ammendment. Those who don't like or listen to Howard, usually hate him. THey don't care if the constitution gets pissed on over him. Typical American attitude, if it doesn't directly effect me, who cares? Howard is only step 1 in the Bush Administration's silencing agenda. Anyone else who speaks out AND is irreverent will find themselves in a similar position. However, to hear Howard last night on Sirius was to hear Howard begin his end-run of the Bush Administration's Nazi-like tactics to "protect" our children. I am a father of 2 young girls, and trust me when I tell you that I'd have them listen to Howard ANY day of the week befrore listening to our so-called President. God Bless Howard, and God Bless the Stern Fan Network. May both live on for many many years

The greatest thing about Howard coming on was how when he first to begin to talk he was all groggy and tired. It was difficult to tell that it was even him. I listened to the Free FM loser show today for about ten minutes today and it sucked ass. Diamond Dave had on his loser Uncle on the show and he talking about he helped build NY. Bull f___in shit.

I caught that live on-air check on Tuesday as well! It was hillarious. I'd only been without Howard for a few days but already I was having withdrawl. It was pretty funny all the major technical things that kept going wrong, and Artie's one liners were hillarious. Hopefully they'll put their Thursday rehearsal live on-air as well, but it doesn't sound too hopeful the way they were talking.

Does anyone have an mp3 version of this? I would love to hear it!

Missed the live broadcast and I don't understand why they don't replay it. I've been hooked up with Sirius since Christmas and I'm still looking for other content worth listening to. Raw Dog never seems to be live. Any suggestions for any other channels music or otherwise I need to program as favorites?
