I know I'm a newbie here, but your site has so many threads and so many milions (it seems) fans posting, that if you don't visit the site often, one loses track. under your own post here, click the "Profile" button and look on the right lower part of the page. you'll get a nice surprise!

With regard to the "rules", I think (in my humble opinion) that banning any and all criticism of Howard, his channels and the people that populate his channels is a bit severe. Sometimes, criticism results in good change. For example, everyone complained about not being able to catch all of Howard's show and pleaded for him to do replays. And so he did. Best thing that ever happened. Really, a lot of people signed up for Sirius for Howard and Howard only. Furthermore, since there are no "ratings" like there are with regular radio, how will Howard know if one of his other shows, say Bubba or Ferrall, is popular with the fans, if they're not allowed to say anything bad about any of the shows? I may be wrong here, but I really don't think you mean for SFN to be just a suckup website (yeah, I know Howard stated he couldn't ready bad stuff about himself on SFN, but really, I think he does look for costructive criticism ... he's always looking to improve, no?) My two cents, for what it's worth.

First, the site is very laid back and normally almost anything goes. Problem is there are alot of haters out there that are being drawn to the site right now who would love to see Howard and SFN die. We need to keep the shit heads in line while letting the fans enjoy the site and it's a tough line to walk. We're getting alot of repeat annoying crap from the new members. Alot of it is very negative and it needs to stop ASAP. This isn't a place to bitch about the show or Sirius, it's a fan site. It's for the fans and it's about enjoying the show. I don't want to hear your speech about freedom and censorship letting me know how you should be able to say anything you want just like Howard. Let me set you straight now. You aren't Howard and this isn't your stage. If anyone around here is Howard, it's me and if you annoy me, I'll hang up on you. This is how we run the site and it's one of the reasons it's gotten so big. If you do not like it, there are lots of other websites out there. We have a ton of great members and I hope you become one of them.

Ignoring these warnings will get you booted from the site. I'll sum them up for ya. Don't post anything that will cause problems for the site, our advertisers, the show, or the people involved with them. Obvious flames where the intention of the post is to irritate and start problems will be removed and the member warned/banned based on the severity of the post from my point of view.

This list is not a set of rules for you to quote and point fingers at other members who you feel are breaking the law. It is not something that you can study and look for legal loopholes defending why you shouldn't be in trouble. It's just a list of things that will piss me off. If you don't want to get banned, I'd pay attention.

1. Do not ever argue with the staff. Do not bitch about the 30/30/30 Rule. Do not debate the SFN policies and whether or not you technically broke the rules. Do not dispute the Staff's decisions. We do not want to explain why every single administrative move was made. Just accept it was for the good of the site. If your post was deleted it's for a very good reason so don't post it again. Don't make a new thread bitching about how it was deleted or about how the mod is on a power trip.

Here is information about the 30 day probationary period (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38409) that all new members must go through. Once you make it through your 30 days, the posting restrictions will be lifted and you'll have access to the member only forums.

2. Do not harass the VIPs. They have custom titles under their usernames identifying them. Using the excuse that you don't consider that person a VIP doesn't hold any merit. If you know their name because of the show, they're a VIP. You can discuss them and play with them but don't fuck with them. If you make them uncomfortable, you'll be the one who's booted.

3. Leave the real world out of it. don't dig into their private lives or their families. I don't care if you read an article about so & so's daughter, just drop it. You can all fight online. Hell, sometimes I think that's why Al Gore invented the internet. What you can't do is bring your online board war home. This is all for fun. Don't start calling them at home or at work. People shouldn't be afraid to come here because you might cost them their job.

4. Do not bitch about Howard streaming his show over the internet, podcasts, commercials, vacation, or Fridays. Stop your bullshit idol threats about not subscribing unless they change. I've posted details concerning all of the current angry messages we see about Howard's salary, vacation, days off, commercials etc. Before you spout off about the $12.95 you spend a month and what Howard should do to make you happy, please read the facts (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=96167).

5. We don't care about who you think sucks. I'm tired of thread after thread of "so & so sucks, get him off the show". If you have real comments about something that happened on the show thats fine but so many of you just seem to be loving the hate. You are not allowed to harass the VIPs or the Staff so get your angry ass out of here. If you must vent, post it in the post it in the "Who Gives a Shit" (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=4) forum.

6. Don't bother telling us your bullshit about how your shock jock is better than Howard. Go tell it to your retard friends because we aren't buying it. We don't care to debate it. We were at the rally on Dec 16th and the numbers don't lie. It's a dead issue. Accept it now, your guy sucks ass. It's not that we can't take your "evidence", it's just who the hell cares about you & your shock jock. Awesome guidelines for posting. Very clear and concise. One thing though, when exactly is the thread considered an "Old thread"? I've got one that is about 3-4 months without a post that I would like to comment on, but I'm not sure what the cutoff point is for a dead thread.

I don't have the time to read through hundreds of post and its dificult trying to find a post worthy of responding too. I'll just put in my time and see what happens.

Okay-I get it know, doesn't mean that it sucks any less for us that just want to have a good time and post more then once a half an hour. I also wanted to start a Ralph sucks thread (we al know that he really does) and an I love Arte Thread. I can't do that until my 30 days which is a total bummer. However, I love the sight it's totally funny and keep up the great work .

Since I'm still a jr member I can't post a new thread so this doesn't really have anything to do with this thread, but... I just wanted to say Mutt does a great job on the Sirius promos. Voiceover work isn't as easy as it seems. Mutt is a natural. I've been in radio production for 13 years now and I've heard the good, the bad and the HORRIBLE! :)

Love the Show and the site. I have found a Pat Cooper tape from last year that I asked him about Howard. I can digitize and post the clip when my probation is up.
