I'm giving away a timetrax (http://www.timetraxtech.com/) this week. Who wants one? More importantly who deserves one? I collected names over the past week and here are the nominations for the best file sharing posters. Gerry Lincoln, Player 1, Woots, Xiolablue, NWSterngirl, Booey's Teeth, cheesecake, Tbone420, jms397, & Hubcap626.

If you dont' know what it is, here's my writeup on the timetrax unit. (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85370) It's a small device that allows you to connect your Sirius radio to your computer and rip everything you want to mp3s.

UPDATE: TimeTrax is now supporting the Sirius Sportster plug-n-play radio so you no longer need a second satellite tuner!!!

Player 1 has the clearest and most accessible files. A. They sound like you are listening to the radio. B. You can just right click and get the file instead of having to go to a separate site, enter the code, wait in line then and downloading them.

I haven't shared much publicly since we stopped putting up full sirius shows, more of my work has been behind the scenes. Thanks for including me on that list.

Cheesecake has been my main hook-up for the past year, so i have to give him the vote.

Gerry Lincoln is the man.

Player 1 and Woots received votes from me. Player was great with the show clips, prompt and comprehensive. Woots was unbeatable in posting complete shows, sometimes within an hour of airing. It's a shame there aren't more to give out.

Maybe we can look into the prize closet and hook up NWSG with a new set of cans courtesy of Dr. Sal Calabro and Gerry with a nice new watch from Stephen Singer Jewelers.

Sflocco: xiolablue is a file-sharing god here at SFN. He inspired several of us at SFN and helped many. Even I didn't know he was Mileage nor ZD...lol. It's a difficult choice but I think that Gerry deserves recognition for:

A. Gerry's years of generosity, providing SFN'ers and other fans with Stern's most special and historic segments long before there was ever a "file sharing forum" at SFN, and

B. Gerry's efforts to educate newer Stern fans as to what they've missed, e.g., Stern family moments, Billy's incredible characters, and bits from the "Dungeon" daze that Howard, Jackie and Fred would Lotus-note the nights away.

there is a known problem with Sound blaster audigy 2 ZS sound cards. there might be another one, ask them before you buy it.

Sorry if they are a sponsor. I bought one based on a review on this site and it crashed my computer and cost me $110 to have it fixed. Skyhawk is only $30 bucks and does the same thing.

that doesn't fly chilly. it's only software. i have timetrax and there were some initial problems, most of them operator error, but i've read alot about timetrax and you are the first i've seen to make such a comment. software hurt your hardware? hmmm

i got a blue screen of death (just like the good old days) a couple times but that was because of my Sound blaster audigy 2 ZS card which did not get along well with timetrax. it's cool now.

trust me folks, timetrax is the shit. whatever you want to record, whenever you want to record it for as long as you want to record.

time trax is the best sirius radio i have bought so far...and i have 4.....and if it wasnt for cheese and this site i wouldnt even have known about it
