Its the home kit for the XACT XTR8. Its virtually the same fucking radio. I Just got one for $40 Yesterday!

I had trouble finding one when I bought my Starmate, too. I special ordered one at Circuit City and fortunately they came in the next day...
But until then you can just use the car antenna and a 12V AC adaptor from Radio Shack. Just make sure you get the right sized one.

You only need to buy an ac adapter. No need to buy another antenna. I just used the car antenna that comes with the Starmate.

I just got a Starmate Replay. Live in Canada so had to go to Detroit to get the US receiver. Love it so far. They dont have the starmate replay here yet, so they dont sell the home kit for the replay.

I got mine from Circut City. They didn't have it out in the store but they had it in the back. Check out their website and once you find it select store pick-up. It will tell you if it's there.

i think online is the only place bro. i had to call everywhere just to find out all the stores are sold out here. most of the time they dont even have sirius in stock let alone the home kit.

I bought a home kit on Friday morning at a Best Buy in Pa. I heard they had just gotten a big order in the day before. My car kit was installed early last week at World Wide Stereo where they told me that the home kit I ordered was back ordered until God-knows-when. That's when I started calling around. It seems that before Christmas the manufacturer got a huge order from somewhere (Best Buy? Walmart? Costco?) and pretty much sold everyone else down the drain to fill it. There's lots of pissed off people around. I say they should have expected the surge in sales during the holidays. It's not like they didn't know it was coming.

Went to radio shack, they didnt seem to have the correct bit for the ac/dc adapter. They seemed to think that the starmate replay had a plug that was only for sirius products. What size of adapter did you guys use?

i hooked up my car kit in my house i also ordered the s50 home kit from circuit city it came in about a week but i didnt like it so i used the power cord and the antenna from it and hooked it up to the s50 car kit now i get sirius on any radio in my house threw the fm transmitter in the car kit

I need to buy a home kit as well. AND I need a new antenna for my car.

I've had the car kit for 2 months, but I've had to swap it in and out of cars all that time because I have 2 cars I have to use alternatingly. Last night, checking all my connections for my AM listening (I have a stereo 10 feet away from the car in my dining room window, so leave the radio on in the car can hear great on the stereo), and get NO ANTENNA FOUND. I see that the antenna wire, right near the jack, has broken. Argh!

Good thing some electrical tape proved to be a good temporary fix, but wont hold for long...

Don't know if everyone in the lower part of SC have their recievers yet, but just in case... Best Buy in North Charleston just got in a shipment of Starmate Replays and some accesories. Also, I know the Circuit City here has a few left as well... but very few. So if you don't have one, try Best Buy or Circuit City in North Charleston.
