Well considering there is recorded documentation of Howard's hate of Bubba in the past, and the fact that he was hired because Howard needed to fill the slot, I give it a max of a year b4 he is gone.

I do not think he will get fired or anything, i think there will be a minor fued and with no real forthought on it the two indepedently decide that is best for ratings and subscribers that they keep it up. i kinda remeber the dice and kinison feuds were blown up a little bit and kept going a little longer more for ratings then the fact that htey had any kind of problem with each other. Arsinio has always said that he and howard never really had any problems with each other outside of being on air.

This isn't like FM radio where a radio war means more listeners for both DJ's. If you have subscrition radio you are probably listening to both of them. There will be no wars until Bubba leaves for a better paying gig. In reality a guy like Bubba may be able to reap the rewards in 18 months after the failures of guys like DLR.

Howard could fill both channels with "stuff". Bubba adds the afternoon feel that is in the same vein. Bringing in people who should add original and compelling programming is a plus. This is a move that should be a win/win.

Oh stop it. Everyone's not a fuckin Yankee...
Bubba is nothin but thankful for his station. Why don't you people have any trust in Howards decisions?
Guess what? Southern humor flies well all across the nation. Otherwise, bluecollar humor wouldnt have such a following.
Howard rocks. So why the hell do you refuse to give him credit for knowing what humor sounds like? He hired Bubba. This is his programming decision.
Give the guy a chance.

There won't be a feud but Howard is a control freak who is a perfectionist and demands that his people complete their jobs in a professional manner. What will make Howard go after Bubba or anyone else is if Bubba does something that detracts from the product or takes advantage of Howard, then he will deal with it on the air like he always does. For example, say Bubba started selling Chachki's with Howard Stern's name on it without getting Howard's approval first, Howard would cut him a new asshole. If Bubba calls howard at 1:00 a.m. in the morning telling Howard that there are voices talking to him from his TV, this would probably be dealt with as well.

I don't think they'll be a feud any time soon. With his ego, Bubba might have some resentment when Howard takes credit for the number of new subscriptions on 12/26 and 1/8. A small percentage of those large numbers are probably there for Bubba. But then again, he wouldn't be there if it weren't for Howard, so I really would give Howard the credit.

Ronnies a glorified cab driver.
One thing I learned about moving to NY from Oklahoma 6 years ago.
NYers like to buck up like theyre tough, but when called n it, will ask you (after shooting off their mouth) what the fuckin problem is., why you wanna be violent?
Ronnie wants to talk the talk...Let's see him walk the walk. Put the gloves on on Bubbas show.
Walking in the shadow of greatness does not make you great also.
Pay attention Ronnie before one of those "rednecks" smacks ya.

I don't there will ever be a feud. Howard and Bubba are sure to have ironed things out in countless meetings before the revolution began, and Bubba works for Howard. More importantly, Bubba's audience in Florida (and the South) is a crucial market for Sirius and Howard's show. Southeners and Midwesterners have different tastes in talk and comedy than the Northeasterners and West-coasters; Bubba's audience is an important gateway to Howard's revolution. Plus, without Howard there is no Bubba101.

i thought that it was a bit odd that when i signed up for my sirius that there was no poll question as to what brought you to buy this product? So i think that it was either an attempt by sirius to have a back door out of giving howard his bonus for getting subscriptions if the number was close to what the goal was they could have the possibilty of saying that "well not all those subscriprtions were for you" if they were able to track all the reasons why subscribers joined they would have had no way of getting out of giving howard the stock if %90 said they joined for howard (but they were stuck because there was such a huge amount of new subscribers there was no way they could deny howard his due), or the other reason there was no tracking because howard did not want bubba to have a bargining chip if too many new subsribers voted that they joined to hear bubba.

I can see a minor flareup because Bubba seems to target the necks, and now he will need to get after a broader type of audience. This may lead to him ripping off some material (as he has in the past) from Howard.

I will give Bubba a listen but I have learned a long time ago, when I used to be interested in seeing if a clone was any good (they kept trying new ones at WBUF) that most of the clones suck. He gets five to 10 listens and if he is like the other clones, average, I won't bother with it, too much other great stuff on the other stations at Sirius.

Two words: Richard Simmons. I hope that fag does not have an out in his contract saying he can avoid Howard, Howard has to barge in live on this guy one day on a Sunday or when Simmons is around and broadcast it from Howard100.

heres what i want to know about bubba , i just listened to Ned say he was happy in tampa , now as ive heard Bubba will be broadcasting from tampa , so what the fuck is Ned's problem ... ohh wait he though he was the number 2 guy in the show and should have gotten the bigger money that the rest of the cast . then again when he's 30% of the show , i think that qualifies you for being number 2.

Exactly, and I'm sure that will happen pretty soon. Bubba is a no talent liar. Why do you think he needs that "Ned" guy so much? Because without him, Bubba's show is terrible.

You all heard Bubba caught in a lie today. That pornstar wouldn't lie about fucking people. Tabitha's fucked pretty much everyone, and she's always been open about it on the show.

Give King of All Blacks and Angry Black a show again...that will fill the timeslot a little better :)

I hope and pray that he does drop in on Richard Simmons during his show, or at least Sal and Richard.

I don't know, but Bubba seems pretty gung ho. I think as soon as he consistently does stuff that's more outrageous than Howard (which seems like a good chance the way he's talking), Howard is going to have a problem with it. As soon as Bubba starts getting more press for his antics than Howard does, there will be a problem.

How long before there is a Howard/Bubba Fued? and will it be real or semi-set-up? Exactly what I was wondering. That would be real WWF/Gansta Rap.I doubt Howard would sink to faking it. The question is will they feud for real?

If Bubba sticks to his show he'll be fine. If he screws with the Stern people and keeps mouthing off, he's gone.

He should just do his show and avoid conflicts with Howards posse.

You must be kdding, that would take pressure off of Howard, more press for Bubba, great, let Howard work on his channels. More press for Bubba means more press for the shows Howard is producing , more press for the two HOWARD STERN channels, as in "exit strategy" when Howard wants to retire. You don't really get the man, but I am sure he will oblige you by feuding with Bubba if and when this happens. I think Howard is secretly praying for Bubba to get press, it's another wheel on the train that will roll over the world.
