What the fuck? At 8:00 pm est, Bubba's show got cut off for the bullshit Howard 100 News when he was right in the middle of a rant about how hot Robin looked today and how Bubba claimed her over the other guy on his show.

I'm surprised I'm writting this because I wasn't that into Bubba when he came on the show on KROCK, but the hillbilly has grown on me in the last 2 days. But now the fucking news cuts his show off! Weak!

I don't even like the news to start with, I can't believe they cut off Bubba. I didn't enjoy his show yesterday, but I was into it today. And those assholes cut it off! For Christ's sake, that replay shit can wait! Also, move up the roundtable to 4, shitty news to 5 and start the show replay at 6. I don't want to have to stay up late to hear the last part of the show, and get up early the next morning to work.

I am already sick of the news. I could careless if I hear it again, let alone twice a day and then 6 hours of replay :vomit:

Howards got a 17 person news staff so they're probably in there bitching about going on in time like a bunch of henpecking chickens. However right now, the way I see it, its like howard's show is #1 priority and bubba is #2. Its only in the best interest of the channels not to cut off bubba, especially while hes trying to win over the stern crowd. But lets face it, Bubba was one of the top syndicated radio personalities in America at one time and doesn't deserve this kinda treatment from the news department. I have a feeling howard would not approve of this, I expect him to be livid tomorrow and will hopefully put the news pricks in their places. Its not like their shit doesn't run on the channels most of the time anyway, and half the time its repeats. Anyway, i'm not a bubba fan, i'm a howard fan. Just trying to call it like I see it.

I think the news has its place and even like it sometimes. I really like Bubba’s show but in fairness he has to wrap things up on time. The Stern show is maybe the only scheduled program I’ve ever seen run until it ends and is not time based. SFRT will do this but then again it doesn’t have anything running after it most times except a replay of the news.

i usually dont have time to listen to anything besides the stern show itself (worked my schedule out so that im home between 6-11 am every day). so when i do have a chance to catch the news i always enjoy it. sucks that they would cut him off though, thats weird

I'm on the east coast.. Id like to be able to listen to Howard in the morning.. then the recap show.. but then id like to hear a replay of bubbas show at noon to 4pm on 101. I cant listen 4-8 pm, and would fill my work day with new content (or atleast new to me).

The news should be half hour a day. If a big "story" develops, then they can scroll it on the radios and say something like "tune to channel 101 for details" or details at 7pm.

I wouldn't mind seeing a midday news report of actual news that is uncensored and tells it like it is. But yeah, after the wrap up show, its kinda redundant. I love the wrap up show, keeps the show going for awhile, but i'd rather hear a bubba replay right after the wrap-up than just a wrap up wrap up.

I totally agree...I could see them replaying the new news a few times during the day but hours of old news is ridiculous. I'd rather have another replay of the Howard Stern Show on H101 instead of news. Will be interesting to see if it will be a news filled weekend, hopefully we get replays of the Stern Show, SFR & Wrap Up Show.

What I'd do, looking at the H100/101 schedule:

between 10p and 3am Pacific, put 'the Best of Bubba' on. It doesn't compete with howard for the most part.

And instead of those damn H100 news clips in rotation, how about the best of stern? The stuff Howard doesn't have time to air. (eg, prank calls, unedited O'Brien tapes, etc..)

Eh I don't think replaying Bubba before the new Bubba show is a good idea. Bubba replays at night on 101, that's good enough. The replay of Stern on 100 needs to change times. Going till 2am is retarded.

There's NO NEED for the news on both stations. Half hour at noon, half hour at 5. Maybe an hour at 5. Then have Meet the Sterns. Then go with the replay. Trash Tissue time, it sucks. Much rather would have replay.

I don't think anyone expected Bubba's show to be that good or that Bubba would have the staying power to go beyond his alotted time, this is the nice kind of problem you want.

I like the news, if Bubba is in mid rant maybe they should feed his show through the newsroom and have him continue with the news people on the air with them listening until he is done?
