That's irrelevant. Tons of "official" MMA sites have news from cards from Japan or the Netherlands before they're aired in the US, and every site I've been on considers posting results before they air SPOILERS regardless of official reporting.

Besides, is it really that difficult to err on the side of caution and exclude the info from the thread title? I'm not saying you can't post about it, just pointing out simple ways to consider others.

I haven't been able to watch WWE in ages because every time I do they have some stupid drama start up or one of those vapid divas gets ahold of a mic. I've tried NWA: TNA and I just can't get into it.

You should give MMA a shot. Whenever my head starts hurting from wrestling contradictions or miserable storylines (JR's ass, Lita and Edge live sex, et. al), I just watch some old UFC or Pride cards and get rejuvenated.

He didn't retire, he got injured and will be out for a few months. He will be back around May i would guess.

Batista tore his lat for the THIRD time. Given that he's 40 or closing in on 40, this is not good news for a steroid-taking warrior.

Off the juice, he'll be less prone to this type of injury, but at his advanced age, his physique is going to suffer. Since that's a major part of his image, it's going to be interesting when he comes back.
