Over 1 year ago, Joey Boots and I jumped in the Jeep and started driving to the holyland, Doc's Howard Stern Shrine (http://www.howardshrine.com). It was a great trip and we got to meet one of SFN's most interesting members. There has been lots of talk and controversy concerning the visit, and now that the statue of limitations is up, we can finally talk about it.

I know this is an old story, and many of the shrine pics are now available at http://www.howardshrine.com but with everything that was lost over the last couple days, I wanted to add something to the site. I've been meaning to comment these photos, but I just can't wait any longer.

Joey Boots and I had one damn long drive out to his end of the world, spent the night in a hotel a couple towns over, and drove first thing in the morning. We were sitting on his porch drinking some beers waiting for his to show up, when someone pounded on the door from the inside.</td>

Not really. It was a Sunday. We always have a ceremony on Sundays, in honor of HIM.

Some things I remember about the visit.

1. Joey Boots looked much younger in person.

2. Mutt told me that he was going to pop the roof off and make the trip. I thought he would show up in a corvette or something. Instead it was an old jeep.

3. When I opened the Leanna Hart hidden door to reveal not the now infamous condom as expected but instead an incased finger cot display I made, no one got the joke.

4. At they left, me and Boots shook hands and he suggested that the TFOS and DOS form an alliance together and I said that that sounds cool..Less than a week later everyone hated me. Little did I know at the time that he had no authority to make such an offer anyway.
