My kit arrived today and I'm all signed up with Sirius now. I got some cheap computer speakers hooked up to the radio and it sounds great. :tu:

I just need to figure out the vehicle kit now.

I got the Xact XTR1.

There was no home antenna in the universal kit so it looks like I gotta order a home antenna too. I got the car antenna hooked up to it now and I'm getting great reception.

I got the universal kit. it has a sticky pad thing that I put on the dashboard then I can put the put the kit on it and take it off as I wish.
I'm a little bit nervous about putting the sticky pad thing on my car though.

i had the sticky thing with my first receiver. i got the receiver in august, by the middle of september it was falling off. i think the heat really got to it. go with the suction mount, much better solution.

I tried to set up the car part today, but I think won't work. the kit & radio barely fits on my dashboard and when I plugged it into the cigarette lighter, it wouldn't come on. :dontknow:

I'll sett if I can get a seperate vehicle kit with the suction cup.
