Yeah they gotta do something. I'm not totally "anit-news" or anything but I'm gonna gouge my ears out if I hear the GD Richard Christy and Fred Norris profiles AGAIN.

They should either replay the show or compile a massive long "best of the week" show. Or come up with some other show other than constant news.

When the weekends come I thank god for Hard Attack. :)

Weekends are the only time that I ever listen to other Channels anymore.

The show, of course. I don't listen to repeats of Howard 100 News. It makes me feel like Bill Murray's character in "Groundhog's Day." I surf around the music channels or listen to Raw Dog.

I'd love to hear repeats of the show. It would certainly be worth listening to.

I agree -- Howard's show is better. Lots of us can't listen to the whole 4 hours every day, so much of it is new to us anyway. I'd love a shot at hearing what I missed during the week.

Yeah why can't they just air all of the shows from the past week on Saturday? They've been airing Bubba the Fat ...I mean Love Sponge. I don't care how much Howard loves him, Bubba's show SUCKS! The only time it is good is when he brings on a member from the show.

You probably wont ever here replays on the weekend of the actual show, cause Howard will probably save that for when they run best of.

They could replay four of the weeks shows....one in the morning and then news....one in the afternoon then the news........This way anyone who missed the broadcast during the week would get to listen at one point over the weekend.......

Right. We should all email howard about this idea. I miss the last three hours of the show because of work. Even if I had that thing where I can save up to fifty hours, I can't do that if I go into work. I am a teacher, so I can't record it in my class! I can't drain my car battery recording it.

What is the old saying, "As useless as yesterday's newspaper!" Nobody ever says, "hey did you hear that news report on the 6 o' clock news 4 weeks ago." What is done in the past with news is in the past.

Maybe if they recut it to best of interviews of the news. But too much, too meaningless!

I understand the programming is new, and they are still working on it, so I am certain they will get it right after a few weeks. They already fixed the weekend issue, ...to a degree.

They could have a set programming time for each show so if you missed it during the week you know when the show will be aired over the weekend........

Since I don't have a window in or near my office I only get to hear 2hrs of the show a day so I would love to have all 4 shows aired as orininally aired during the week. The 9pm replay is too late. I would rather they replay in the afternoon for afternoon drive time. :hw:

Howard always said that if they played Howard all the time that the show would be a bit less special. Especially since they are played twice in a day already.

Maybe an all Stern weekend once a month or so.

What is going on for Feb when they go 4 days a week? Is a best of show or are some of the crew going to try something?

I like the new, but I'd rather listen to reruns of Howard's show. I love the rerun at night! I listen to it everynight!

i am so sick and tired of the H100 news....its kinda got to the point that i dont even like listening to new ones.....this weekend was nice that bubba was replayed but i only heard his friday show and it was played 2 times yesterday....kinda gay....i swear Tim Sabien is a FUCKING MORON....he thinks it would be bad to play bubba and howard replays at the same time....which is fine if he is like that...BUT play replays of Howards shows on the weekend...well dumbass timmy....i might listen to howard....i might listen to bubba...who knows....BUT it would be nice to have a choice and it would be nice to hear replays of the entire week.....the news replays suck to no end....even during the week...fuck...its not brain science

I like the idea of rebroadcasting the shows on the weekend (including the wrap-up show). They could do this until they get more new programing in place. I am also getting tired of hearing the same news over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. :dbz:

anything BUT Howard 100 news...

everyone has said it all already. i know the show is in its infancy and all...but all this news replay was someones idea and he should be shot each time the fred norris profile is aired. it was cool the first few days before howard got on, mostly cause i havent heard stern in over 5 years. (i live in minneCRAPolis where he was taken off the air.)
but man enough is enough. replays of earlier shows would kick ass..especially ones from the week george was in the studio.
and it only has to be temporary until they get more programming ready to roll. someones really droppin the ball on this one..cause im at the point where im starting to hate the howard 100 news even when its new.
hell even hearing the pre jan 9th rehersals would be cool. i would even rather hear all the little audio clips they played during the heartbeat over the news. maybe play music over the weekend. howard and the staffs picks.ANYTHING!!
summary: the news sucks anal goo. props to the reporters..its a good idea to have em, but for now every time i hear em im changing the channel.

I'm voting for best of the weeks....maybe also replay best of "Robins News" ? Sometimes that is the most entertaining part of the show.

I like the Howard100 News. I think the news is a good idea (if it only airs twice a day). Say, at noon and at six pm.

As far as Howard's show - I like the idea of all the shows repeated on the weekends. Some of us are not able to hear everything during the week (signal problems/working/bathroom breaks/running errands, etc.)

I'd like to hear Howard's shows on replay, at least until they get enough shows under their belt for some other Best Of stuff. Maybe Howard could play some of his old stuff too, pre-KRock...maybe some of the Kinison tapes they let him bring...

I can't help but feel that by not airing replays on the weekend that Howard is holding out on us. I figured that with the move to Sirius, I'd be able to hear Howard on the way to work, during lunch, on the drive home and then catch bits I missed at night or on the weekend. Why isn't he on during the afternoon drive?

Why hold out for best of shows during vacation weeks and Fridays? They could have wekend replays and still do 'Best ofs'.

Remember Howard saying on 60 Minutes that he would never short-change his fans? Well, I think he is to sme extent and that's genuinely disappointing.

I don't know what the downside is of replays? Howard must think that it would be over-saturation of his product but I think he's wrong.Becuase of the new media his fan's don't have constant access to the show.

I wish the weekend programming was better. Something live would be key. I just heard the story about beetlejuice's manager for like the 1000th time...I hope weekends get a little bit more attention. Let Artie or Robin do an hour or two, And even fred would be nice to here, spinning some tunes...Still the best, but weekends could be better.

I'd like to hear Bubba replays on 101 all weekend because I can't really listen to him during the week.

All four shows would be a great idea in rerun on the weekends. I'm tired of Howard100News. It was great during the dead time, and it's good for an occasional nugget or two, but I'd rather have the show replayed.

With the show not being online, I guarentee that people are missing a lot while at work.

I have an idea, how about on HOWARD 100/101 they play Howard and not Bubba and the News. It seems that bubba and the news are on constantly.

The fucking howard 100 news is ANNOYING. Sometimes you hear the same fucking segment 5 times in a 2 hour period.

They should atleast program the Howard100News so you don't hear the same shit 25 times a day.

I have to agree with alot of you on this one. They should replay all of the week day shows on the weekened. The full shows with news in between them. I am so tried of nothing but the Howard 100 news repeats all of the time.

i record off of the s50 and wish he would rebroadcast the show over the weekend. maybe the regular show, the aftershow, noon news, 6pm news, specials (meet the sterns, roundtable, etc) next days show. based on a 4day work week thats about 32 hours of programming, throw in maybe a weekend news broadcast or some other new programming and there you go.

Replaying the show is definitely preferable to rerunning the news, but I'd rather have some original and hopefully live programming on the weekends. I can and do record Howards show, so I don't need it replayed all weekend since I can listen to it on my iPod whenever I want.

I missed Danny's shows this week because of work. I would love to hear those re-runs. It sounded like the shows were excellent.
